Accepted!! I applied through the FEEPASS program. Is there a chat going for students somewhere that I could join? I tried using the link that someone posted but it says it expired

I had a similar issue, if you recently made a facebook/messenger account you may not have community chats available to you yet and it will keep saying the link is expired. Couldnā€™t really find another way to join without getting an older facebook account to use that had access to community groups.
 
Has anyone here officially accepted their offer? Accepted mine a few days ago, just wondering how long the school might take to start sending emails with more info and if thereā€™s a deposit to pay to secure a place!

Iā€™m super behind you all, but they finally sent me the ERT šŸ„³ I emailed them last week and they asked me for my transcripts today, so Iā€™m wondering if there was an issue with my app or something. Anyways, yay for passing initial screening šŸ˜ congrats to everyone who already has an offer!

I applied through VMCAS, so in the offer letter they had the deposit information. Not too sure about how it would work through UCAS, sorry!

Got my rejection letter a few weeks ago now, and I'm trying to decide if I should apply again. Did anyone who got accepted in this cycle apply previously and get rejected?
 
hi everyone! i have been accepted to glasgow but due to recent issues im looking to possibly defer my seat due to financial and family reasons, does anyone know if this can successfully be done or if it will look bad as a character? congratulations to everyone šŸ™‚

You're better off discussing deferral options with the school as they are typically granted on a case by case basis and there might be a formal process involved. One person having success does not mean you will also be successful. With that said, I searched the forum and saw someone post about deferring their seat at Glasgow...in 2012.

I don't think requesting a deferral automatically makes you look bad. Life happens! Certain reasons for requesting deferral are questionable though - for example, wanting to apply again to a school you prefer while trying to keep your spot as Glasgow. Doesn't seem like that is the case here.

For at least the US waitlisted people we were told they arenā€™t moving the list until June sadly, but this should be good news for someone at least!
