GM-CSF for Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis

Anyone here have any experience using GM-CSF (SQ or inhaled) for PAP? In light of the negative trial this fall, it’s still off label and seemingly of questionable benefit.
However for patients w GM-CSF autoantibodies I can’t help but wonder if there is a subset w/ a good response.

If you’ve used it, would love to hear how you got it and what the outcomes were.

I’ve been using the standard whole lung lavage and recently started using statins based on animal data.

If anyone here is from U of Cincinnati, especially appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks, bummer it didn't work. Did you use SQ or inhaled? Did insurance cover it?
I assume your pt had anti-GM-CSF antibodies, did you have testing done at Cincinnati, National Jewish, or somewhere else?
