GME, AMC, EXPR, FOSL, NOK, and CVM

Today I lost my @ss trading. I had a red day. I have lost before, but never because I deviated from my plan. Today, I chased, was not fast to pull out, and in general was not discipline. It humbled me- will learn from it. Tomorrow I will more focus and we'll see how it goes.

A lot of chatter on Reddit about HCMC... Why are people talking about a sub penny stock that is currently sitting at $0.0016/share?

They aren't. Check the post history of the people posting things, it's either new accounts or old accounts that were bought with unrelated posting history that were bought for botting.

I don’t know- I never heard of that stock nor have I ever been to Reddit.
while I buy sub-dolllar stocks, it needs to have a catalyst, crazy amount of volume and of course short float.
I bought 50k shares of Sndl this week at $.69 and still holding at 1.20. I think it can go higher. It had more than 1Billion of volume earlier this week.

Bought some SNDL ($0.77) as well, but not 50k... Not an attending yet like you making 500k+/yr.

Wow. You must have a lot of play money. I am way too chicken.

No play money. I would love to reply and give you my honest opinion, But everytime I say something here I get crushed by some members.
nevertheless, solid day today- My earnings today was a tad more of what use to be my biweekly paycheck as an attending on a 330k salary 5 years ago.

i spent a lot of money on GME, but mainly because i support the cause. wouldve liked to make money but i bought when its high and i have diamond hands. currently down 70% from original cost. but its okay. i support the little guys and the movement itself. its insane the SEC is targetting the little guys on reddit and investigating them for FRAUD when they should be regulating hedgefunds

How do I sell my account?

I was wondering why my SNDL stock was rising today. It was YOU! Thanks.

Feel free to PM me. It can be a harsh forum sometimes.
Just gotta learn to swing back and don't flinch. I learned a long time ago.
Most of the time, it is a cool pastime.

Same here. A lot of money for me anyway, as I am a known cheapskate.

i didnt read the thread , but why do you own SNDL stock (other than if its due to reddit). any particular reason ?
I have no idea actually.

I own very little (200 shares @0.55).

Since trading fees are zero dollars, whenever anyone mentions a stock, I buy 1 to 10 shares - as a place holder so I can go back and look at it later. I have SO MANY stocks right now.

SNDL is one of them.

If they check your posting history (neuro forum), they will know that you make 50-60k+/month working 1099 gig as a neurologist...

how do you find the stocks you invest in?

I agree with 💯 percent with your post. Other than what happened last week, I had no idea what was/is wallstreetbets or redit. I guess people go there to find stock picks. I do my own research for my stocks.

Indeed, sndl is riding on tlry....but remember NIO was 1.29 13 months ago. For investing, is really important to look at financial statements. Not holding sndl past this week but it was easy to see the momentum with over 1 billion in volume.

If people can’t handle volatility, maybe day trading is not for them. Every end of day, based on a set criteria, I buy $1000 of a penny stock that will run over night 20-30 percent and sell premarket. It’s extremely volatile, but I am comfortable with this.

so did I . How much money did you spend and at what price did you buy. i ask so i can feel better about myself

man that did not help. i bought at 300 and spent 29k

You’ll be okay. Just think of it as you did a few epidurals for free. You’re here for the “cause.” (When I typed that in, autocorrect suggested “chase” which works too).

Can always buy the dip and pray papa Musk or Cuban is right on something....

A few epidurals? About how many?

If you buy after the hype you're the one that will hold the bag
also learned this hard lesson with gme. got caught up in the hype. although i bought bitcoin near it's bubble a few years ago and it's almost doubled since. i have 100k in crypto overall, it's done pretty well.

Depends on epidurals for pain or labor. I am sure people who do more pain can chime in.

Depends on insurer. For labor, $1800-2500.
Very rare you can get >1500$ for an epidural. I got 500$ max for blue cross, less than a medicaid long labor.

So I still own this. Should I sell now or hold for a miracle
Whatever you want to do. You should put money into it that you are ok with losing.
If you cut your losses now you still lose.
I am not doing jack with mine but I invested only one tenth of what you did because I am not wealthy and even if I was, I would not put that kind of money on one stock.
Invested in money that I am ok with losing as I don’t even think about it. Maybe I will own worthless shares but I ended up buying more after it went down. On principle.

Sad. I suppose that’s how much he thought his life is worth.... I wouldn’t be surprised with the whole game stop squeeze, some kids got caught up in it too deep too.

The guy was an adult and needs personal responsibility. Don't play games you don't understand. Look at all the people here messing around with bitcoin and options with their noses in the air. You're stacking up money by the hundreds and thousands in a bull market until it crashes. All it takes is one bad bet before you get hit hard.

I guess most of us are used to it. Carrying a six figure debt, still, myself. We “play” with life or death daily.

20 some year old, who thought that his life is over because now he’s 700K in debt, is just sad. On top of that, due to some glitches in a computer program? (Not sure about this part...). With what just happened with GME and RH. It certainly doesn’t look good for RH.

I also hope my kids will man up and come to talk to us, not just “simply” kill themselves for something that can be fixed.

Anyone can give me a read on GME? What’s supporting the price at $50? Just because people don’t want to sell? Simple supply and demand?

What's supporting TSLA's price, at 300x "future" estimated earnings? Pure speculation. The bet that the Ponzi will keep going on. Definitely not the FCF of the business, not even in a growth scenario. Why would GME be different?

The margin stuff allowed on these sites has been eye opening. I like to keep my debts as low as possible so I put in money to buy some ETFs. Swiped the bar on WeBull to buy some Vanguard 500 a couple days ago and had margin calls this morning I didnt even realize. My fault? Of course but literally no warning it doubled the amount I put in to the account. Luckily just ETFs I would have bought anyways but now I see these apps are as dangerous as not checking the label before drawing up drugs!
