I've actually wondered where you've been. There is some poser on the boards called 'beachblonde' and I used to get confused when she would post and was wondering when you'd make a comeback. Welcome back ...

I missed ya, but I figured pm'ing you is equivalent to being that kid that breathes really heavy through his nose while standing right over your shoulder, so I resisted.
 
First of all, I think that a public tarring and feathering should take place to any and all posers....especially if she had better online quipping than I.

Secondly, I simply adore breathing down my neck. Extra points if drool escapes from the mouth and burns little holes into my flesh.

I've been taking good ol' gen. chem. Mmmmmmmmm and physics. Mmmmmmmm....they're making me their play thing. Under normal circumstances, it would rock. Unfortunately, this isn't Kansas anymore and I'm trippin on getting As. Yay pre-med.

What have you lovelies been doing?

I was wondering what happened to you...you just kinda phased out of SDN existence for some time. It's nice to see you back though. But I have to wonder now...when exactly were you considering applying? I thought you were gearing up to be enrolled by next fall?? So you're applying NEXT cycle then?
Hopefully I will still be around SDN by that time and not too wrapped up in my studies 😳

Dude, you KNOW we're going to be those guys that linger around 10 years from now as attendings. We'll talk about the good ol' days and reminisce on old members and the way things used to be.....or just get really offensive and booted like JPH.

No no no...I wish. My original matriculation was going to be 2010. But, that would mean taking the MCATs this coming April. I was feeling too rushed and thought it better to take an extra year (despite my chagrin at delaying) to give myself enough wiggle room for the score I deserve, rather than just cramming in it...

...*giggles* And NO ONE likes it crammed in 😉

YES I hate this. Back when I was simply an engineering major, I was happy in just getting a B in my classes. Not anymore... :bang:
 
Ha! I'm not sure what you meant by the cramming, but.....😉

Hahaha if thats how you feel then go ahead and take an extra year. Thats what I decided to do and its possibly the best decision I've made! It just lets you feel like you are playing the game on your terms, not the terms put in place by applicant averages and stereotypes.

Although if i could do it again I would have chosen to wait and apply how I did. However I would have graduated in the allotted four years and then used my "extra" year to do a SMP at Midwestern or some other place like that.

I'll be walking funny for weeks from the exam I took today.

I got accepted to harvard medical school but turned it down because I didn't feel like it was a good fit for me.

There's a cry of pain but it's from me having to do 2 months of back to back inpatient q4 peds call in a couple weeks. :laugh:

Keep on trucking with your MCATs and grades gang, but dont forget to have fun in the process :hardy:

<p>It all happened so fast, I can't remember. I have no idea how it even got up there. I was outside at 3am, doing some naked gardening, and I just sat down on it. </p>
