GPA Discrepancy

I just calculated my 3 undergraduate GPAs... and it seems as though my three types of GPAs are very different.... will this hurt me? I will be applying this year.
Cumulative GPA: 3.4
Science (BCPM) GPA: 3.2
All Other (non-BCPM) GPA: 3.7

Thoughts?

What year are you in (if you're still in school)? It's a little lower than average for matriculates at med school, but if you have a good MCAT score then you should be okay, especially at your state school(s). If you haven't graduated yet, you can improve, and an upward trend in gpa looks better.

Not exactly sure what you're asking, but it's pretty common to have a slightly lower sGPA than non-sGPA. If you're asking will a 3.2 hurt your chances a little, the answer is yes. Not prohibitively so, but if there are some sop science classes available to you I'd recommend signing up.

If this one is a question from my post than I apologize for confusing you. I was just saying that your gpa is a little low, but if you have/get a good MCAT score then you'll still be competitive. At your state medical school(s) you have a slight advantage because they give preference to in-state residents, so a lower gpa isn't as determential to your application. I hope that un-confuses you 🙂
