There are a bunch of threads going around - feel free to use the search function on the right side of the screen. Stats are different for each school, so you might want to check the Pharmcas school info page or contact the specific school directly...

Post if you need more assistance...

do pharm schools do that though? i mean do they seperate the gpa of your last 60 credits and put more emphasis on it even when the cumulative is average?

i'm asking because i'm in the same boat as you.

Uuummmmm, no. You could perhaps use that in a PS or something to demonstrate that you have turned over a new leaf and are working real hard to get into school. 👍

A very small number of schools will actually look at your last 45 credits or so. But, it's not the only thing they look at. Usually they want a minimum of XYZ over the last little while, or they will let your overall min gpa be slightly lower if your recent gpa is higher. You'd have to check out each school individually to find out who sets the bar where. Honestly, it's probably not worth much researching, since it only affects whether or not you may apply, not whether or not you'll be favored as an applicant. You will be checking each school's minimum requirements before applying anyway.

Depends on the school - some create just a science and a cum gpa, others do a last # of credits. Pacific has 3 GPA's - UF doesn't even tell you how many they calculate - contact the specific school to find out

i sure hope they do because there are periods where i was totally messed up for many reasons. I've gotten a bunch of Ds and Cs in the past but I made a comeback so i hope they put a lot of emphasis on that. Even with the 3.2 science and math, the reason its low is because I was hospitalized and made 3 C's totally 15 credits. I would have a cumulative of 3.6 if I take only 2 semesters out of my entire transcript.
My bad grades are not like scattered througout the transcripts. they are concentrated in 2 semesters.
