Where will you be attending if you don't mind me asking?

Congrats on your acceptance to NOVA! I was accepted there as well! Is your deposit due this Sunday January 15th? Are you planning to pay your deposit even though you are waiting on other schools?
Thank you! Yeah, I paid my deposit the weekend of my acceptance just because it's my only sure-shot at this point. There are only one or two schools at this point that could deter me from attending Nova. I'm going to the open house this week, so hopefully I'll have a better idea of everything. Let me know what you plan on doing!

Hey man I'm at nyit now and I have a 2.9 and I'm studying for gres busting this test trying to ace, I worked and volunteered and have like 1400 hours and I'm still doing more YOU think I might get anything or any college

At the end of the day I think it was my squat that really sold WCU. However, UNC and ECU were not impressed by my deadlift which held me back there. We'll see what Emory thinks as my bench has improved.

UPDATES IN BOLD

***ATTENTION***
I am in desperate need of advice/motivation. This is my 3rd year applying to PT programs. I graduated in Dec 14 with my bachelors in Kinesiology and immediately applied to four PT programs (UIC, Midwestern, Rosalind Franklin, Governors State). I was immediately denied. I spent the spring semester taking Biology II and medical terminology to increase my GPA and again applied to 8 schools (UIC, Midwestern, Rosalind Franklin, Governors State, Bradley, Northwestern, UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee). I was denied to all 8, no interviews. The following year I retook A&P 1&2 (received A's in both) at a community college because I received a "C" in both classes. I have applied to the following schools below.

I recently had an interview at Concordia University St Paul (1/13). I thought it went well, but I guess not. Although I was nervous I felt like I answered the questions well and had good questions to ask them. I need TIPS on nailing my next interview if I get one.

I am so passionate about PT; however I'm beginning to lose hope, especially if I get denied to all these schools again. I would literally do anything to become a Physical Therapist and I just want schools to see this. ANY ADVICE FOR ME?!

Getting pretty discouraged here at this point. Still waiting on Midwestern, Rosalind Franklin, University of Minnesota, Trine University, and SBU but it's time to start planning how I'm going to strengthen my application this year.

I am already planning on re taking the GRE again and killing it this time. Also, I have a C in both physics 1 & 2. Should I retake one or both these classes?

You really, really, REALLY need to spend your time/resources to increasing your GRE score. You have to shoot for a minimum of 150V/150Q/4AW on the GRE (aka total score of 300+) to be even considered to PT schools (there are actually a few studies that show a correlation between the verbal GRE score and how well students fare in a DPT program). Other than that, you already took so many classes, so there is not much you can do GPA-wise except to retake the pre-req courses you got lower than a B- in (which it looks like you are doing/did). I might sound stern to you, but getting into PT school is getting more competitive every single year, and not doing well on the GRE 3 times would be a concern if I was on an admissions committee. I have some GRE materials you can use to study (send me a PM), but you need to have more adequate numbers to get your foot on the door to DPT programs. I wish you well as a fellow UIC student, and lets see what Concordia says.

I know they are more expensive but there are some schools that do not require the GRE if you are determined to become a PT!

Agree with CPHorseGirl. Don't give up! Here is a list of Programs by GRE requirements from PTCAS - look for the ones that are blank in all columns across their respective row. Also think about applying to programs that do not use PTCAS for admissions.

Good luck‼

Regardless of cost, how will you guys select schools and why?

Location, NPTE pass rate, graduation rates, uniqueness of each programs, locations of clinical sites, etc. I chose UIC because of cost, familiarity with the faculty, and they don't push for research like some DPT programs do. Instead, they offer certifications/electives you can take to specialize in a certain area of PT. Also, UIC's DPT program is much more diverse compared to most programs. Ultimately, UIC offered everything I was seeking for in a DPT program haha.
