Has anybody else received an interview at Columbia for December 4th?

For those of you who have interviewed with University of Miami, have you heard anything....be it neutral/good/bad? Just curious what to expect! Thanks!

I had my interview exactly a month ago but have yet to hear anything at all. Wish they would update us on how the process is going.

I just found out that a friend got an interview at IUPUI earlier this week. I still haven't heard anything and am getting really nervous. Has anyone else heard back?

I heard back earlier this week (maybe Tuesday?) regarding an interview. Not sure if they sent them all out at once.

Has anyone had an interview/gotten into The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB)? I have an interview there and am wanting some insight.

I applied there and haven't even received an interview yet. If they haven't gotten back to you after your interview, it's probably because they still haven't finished giving out interviews to everyone and therefore can't accept/deny anyone yet until they've finished reviewing all the applications. I heard some people interview there on 11/20 and some on 11/30, so you'll probably have to wait until all of the interviews are over! Hope this helps 🙂

Today, offered an interview at IUPUI.

So, far had interviews at Rosalind Franklin University, University of Miami...will have an interview at Ohio University this weekend. And now one at IUPUI. I wish some schools did more interviews!!

Congratulations to you! Do you know what your first choice is?

starrsgirl - yes, it's a great place to live! Weather can be pretty wild, but aside from that it's nice. If you're a Husker fan, Lincoln is definitely the place to be.

cyclingkayaker88 - Thank you! Honestly, I was caught off guard by the phone call and acceptance. Northwestern is a great school and I was doubting myself a bit with my low prereq GPA. But I'm in, so that's a relief! I guess I don't really have a certain school that I'm just dying to go to. If I had to pick a #1, it would probably be Duke - but I couldn't say that with confidence until I visit there. From what I've read on this forum, people seem to love everything about Northwestern except the tuition and cost of living. I don't have any undergraduate debt, but I'll be taking on the full burden of PT school and living expenses. Regardless of where I go, I'm going to have a dark cloud of debt hanging over me, the question is how big do I want to make that cloud? I know people say that once you are licensed, the school you went to doesn't matter all that much, but I think the experience of going to Northwestern is worth something, right? If I have to spend more, but I had an amazing experience at PT school, then I'd say it would be worth it. But that's just me. And I know there are many people out there that would kill to be in my shoes right now with an acceptance to Northwestern, I'm just really thankful to be in this position!

I'm going to the open house in January to get a feel for it and if I don't have any other acceptances by mid-January I'll definitely be putting the deposit down for Northwestern.

What do you guys think? Chances? I know my overall GPA is below average, but there is a VERY noticeable grade trend. I'm also thinking that my GRE might help balance that a bit. Let me know!

I'm super excited to be accepted into both GSU and Augusta University's (formerly GRU) DPT programs!! Crazy that the emails came within a few hours of one another and now I've got a tough decision on my hands. Anyone have any advice on choosing?

Kinda unhappy with my GRE since I got mid-150's on every practice exam, but really really really didn't want to retake it if I didn't have to. I got myself into a bit of a hole freshman year with my GPA hovering around 3.0 and have slowly but surely raising it each semester so hopefully that's taken into account (3.8 and 3.4 my last two semesters).

So happy for you! I've seen you comment here and there and glad to hear you're finally an SPT! If I am granted an interview at GSU, I may reach out to you for some tips if that's okay with you!

Wow, congratulations! That's amazing, and good luck making your decision! Out of curiosity, did you email Dr. Hasson to inquire about your acceptance?
My preference is obviously Augusta because I'm from here, but I'm sure that doesn't give you anything constructive to base your decision on 🙂

E-mail him. I guarantee you will get a reply within 30 minutes. The man is lightning fast with email responses.

Thank you and feel free! At the interview I was told they accept half their class from the first interview then do another interview in January and accept the other half, I'm not sure how accurate this is however. I'd be happy to answer any questions about their interview style though!

No, I didn't. I actually interviewed with Dr. Hasson and sent him a quick email afterwards. He gave me an update on my status a few days after the interview and then today to say I've been officially accepted but that they wouldn't be notifying people for 1-2 weeks. You could find out then or probably email whoever you interviewed with!

Anyone know someone that went to Nova? I was looking up reviews from previous students and found some not so positive (http://www.studentsreview.com/FL/NSU_g.html). Have any of your schools given you advice for areas to improve? Have you continued to change your application by taking classes or doing hours each time you apply? You are a curious case as your numbers seem fine on paper. Do you feel like you have some carefully researched schools on your list this year that will be a good match?
