Hey everyone. So on PTCAS it says WJU's deadline is Oct 15. However, on their DPT website, it says that they have a soft deadline of December 1. Does this mean that I can technically still apply to the program? If so, I am thinking about submitting my application to WJU as an additional school. However, I wanted to be sure before I did anything. All of my materials are obviously within PTCAS since I have already applied to schools this cycle -- however, my GRE scores haven't been sent to Wheeling Jesuit. I'm confused on the two different deadlines and whether or not I can still apply for next year. If someone could let me know, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Yeah you can still apply. Some schools will have an deadline posted for when they start the reviewing process. If you apply after this deadline your application will be reviewed after they started sending out interviews and offers. It’s still worth applying tho. Good luck!

Hey! When did you hear back for an interview from Radford and Murphy Deming? (Congratulations on the acceptance to Murphy Deming though!!) Also, when did you apply?

Thank you!!!

I sent in all of my applications mid-August (not sure the exact date). I received an email from Murphy Deming mid-October about receiving an interview and then interviewed on October 26th. I was accepted a week later by email. Only 14 of us interviewed at this time and I know the admissions coordinator said that they do several interview rounds at this school to fill the whole class. We have to accept or deny by November 14th so you may hear more after that date.

Radford emailed me on November 1st about interviewing on November 15-16th. My cousin currently attends their program and she said the new Admissions Coordinator is behind so he could still be sending things out

Hey! I just got an email from Emory + Henry saying that they received and looked at my application! Do you know when you got the interview invite after receiving that email? Thanks in advance!

It was about a month between those emails for me. But I applied pretty early for their particular deadline so I received my "reviewing" email earlier than most probably did. When my cousin went through applying, Emory + Henry did interviews both in December and January also. They gave me about three weeks between the interview confirmation email and the actual interview so I would guess about the same amount of time between those for the other interview dates as well.

Good luck!!

What was your experience like? Favorite part or any concerns? Thanks!
It was a great day! Group interview. I had 4 in my group, everyone else had 3. Campus is phenomenal and students and faculty we met were really friendly. There is a short writing portion, which I wasn't completely prepared for but it was nothing crazy. I think you'll have fun!

I have no idea lol. Im gunna start practicing a little with myself and find some questions online and make some blurbs. What about you what are you planning to do? Please let me know how your interview goes!

Hey everyone. I have a question about being waitlisted.

I am currently on the waitlist to interview at Toledo as well. However, they informed me that they interview 130 applicants, and there are 120 on the waitlist, and that I was in the top 20% of the waitlist. This means that I am in the top 24/120 on the waitlist. So do you think there is a good chance/likelihood of 20-30 applicants declining the interview and me getting selected for an interview? I figure that not all 130 applicants will even accept the interview offer due to a number of reasons. I also am assuming that there are a few people above me on the waitlist that won't be able to make it either (due to travel accommodations, distance, accepting other offers). Who knows. I am just sort of getting my hopes up I guess, lol.

Has anyone here heard of getting placed on a "waitlist" for an interview at MCPHS and midwestern-glendale? Never heard of being placed on a waitlist for an interview, but MCPHS notified me that I am placed on a waitlist and if a spot opens up I will be notified via email to schedule my interview. Has anyone ever gotten the same notifications?

Thank you!!

I'm also on the waitlist for an interview at MCPHS. Never heard of this before either. :/

Yay! Congrats on your acceptance!!! Very exciting 🙂

I have a few questions... when did you hear back from Wheeling Jesuit for an interview (how soon after you applied)?
Also, I submitted my application to High Point early September and they told me I was still under review on Oct 8. Should I be worried or do you think they will be sending more interview invites?

Thank you so much!!!

I believe it was approximately three weeks after I submitted my Wheeling Jesuit application that I heard from them. I don't think you should be worried! From what I have seen posted about last year, it looks like High Point did interviews into January and I think even one in February. Keep being positive! I'm sure you will hear something!

I heard they ask very general questions! and there will be a 30 minute situational essay prompt. I will let you know, good luck!

I interviewed on October 19th and they told us we'll hear back either the first or second week of December! They also told us we were the first interview date, so people who interviewed on that date will essentially either get waitlisted or accepted

Have you heard anything from Radford yet? I am waiting to hear back for an interview?
I heard from Radford a couple of days ago! They emailed me on November 1st offering an interview on either November 14th, 15th, or 16th, but I decided not to accept because I've already gotten interviews from better schools

How soon after your interview at U Indy did you find out you were waitlisted?
I didn't even interview. I am waitlisted before that process. They pretty much said to retake my GRE which I figured because my scores are not great.

Has anyone heard from URI on when the begin to pass out interview offers?

Hey everyone. I have a question about being waitlisted.

I am currently on the waitlist to interview at Toledo as well. However, they informed me that they interview 130 applicants, and there are 120 on the waitlist, and that I was in the top 20% of the waitlist. This means that I am in the top 24/120 on the waitlist. Personally, I view being waitlisted as a rejection. That way if you're ever pulled from the waitlist, it is more so of a surprise as opposed to something you should expect. That being said, every school is different and they don't even know how many people will accept offers and things like that.
