That is awesome! Is your offer for the 2020 or 2021 cohort?
Thank you! I've faced quite a bit to get here and was terrified that I wouldn't be enough for a while. UAB is slightly off-sync- they start their next cohort in January 2021, but it's the same cycle as the ones that start in August 2020. That's actually one of the few downsides- that I'd have to support myself for an extra 4-6 months outside of school after I've already left the job that supported me. Emory starts really early, this coming May, so it's quite a range of dates to start.

^^^^^Same question
There is a group interview where I talked to two faculty members, then something called speed dating where different faculty members ask you one question 1 and 1 for only about 5 minutes. There were a list of questions but sometimes they would go off script. It was mostly ethical questions, what would you do in this type of scenario, or describe a time when.. ex; describe a time you failed terribly. There were also questions asking about why FGCU, your major, and then there was a meeting with your group, a faculty member, and current students to ask whatever you like.

How did the interview go at FGCU? What kinda of questions do they ask?

Congratulations on your acceptances. When did you send in your application for Thomas Jefferson & any idea why you got rejected? I find it weird that UCF tells you that they won't accept out of state applicants AFTER you paid for the application and their supplemental fee.

Hi! I applied to Jeff on 9/3 and heard back 9/25. I believe that I was rejected because of my undergraduate institution, my school does not offer BIO II and students who have been accepted in previous years to Jeff do not attend due to having to take extra classes outside of our Pre-PT curriculum. I know people in my major with 4.0 and perfect GRE from my school that were rejected to Jeff. I was upset though because they did not even give me a chance to interview. I know of students from other schools with lower stats than me that were given a chance to interview and even accepted.

Also to clarify UCF, they sent me an email explaining the drastic tuition difference between in-state and out of state (over 100,000 more). The email basically explained that most out-of-state do not accept their spots in UCF program because of the price and they wanted to clarify if I would like to proceed with my application. I basically took this as a rejection and pulled my application.

I have a super low GPA with a super low GRE so I won't be surprised if I don't get offered anything, but it's worth a shot!

Congrats on GWU! I attended the Marymount interview as well and just found out today I was accepted. If you don't mind me asking, how long after you submitted your GWU application did you hear back about an interview?

Congrats again!
