The topic of "how to fix American healthcare" frequently came up in my interviews. It's interesting to learn what are the different sources of exorbitant health care costs in America, what other countries are doing, and what reform efforts are in progress.
The first book I read on this topic was The Healing of America by Reid. It gave a comparative analysis of several different countries' approaches to providing affordable healthcare for all citizens.
I am interested in learning more about this topic. What health economics/policy books, videos, or podcasts do you all suggest?

- I recently listened to this podcast, which was excellent: http://files.libertyfund.org/econtalk/y2018/Rajkumarcancer.mp3
- I'm currently reading Health Care Under the Knife by Howard Waitzkin
