So for those of you who have interviewed, what kind of questions do they generally ask? Is it laid back like residency interviewes or do they try to grill you? If you did some research do they really try to go in depth about what you did?
what's wrong with Emory program coordinator??
this is her fifth email telling - probably every body- that your file has been received and we will contact u NO LATER THAN APRIL first !!!

Hi
Received a invite from washU st louis by snail mail. I am hearing very diverse views about the program. I heard a 1st year fellow resigned from the program last year. It is a very malignant program I heard... can anyone please shed some light on this. Is this true?? I know washU is highly regarded in other specialities-- cards/GI. How is the oncology program?
appreciate any input...
thanks

Wash U St.Louis👍 by snail mail. Cetuximab: Why do you say it is a malignant program? It is one of the NCCNs. I thought it was a good program![]()
Congratulations!! Which Mayo if you dont mind?
Like I said it is very reputed in ther specialities.. but hav'nt heard much about the onc program.. I do know for sure that a fellow resigned from the program last year. I am a little apprehensive about the program from what I heard, i could be wrong. We will find out during the interview. Do you think it is OK to ask the current fellows about why the fellow quit???
UCLA interview ......YES! 🙂

I'm a Wash U resident so here is some insider info. Yes, one of the first year fellows quit for "personal reasons" and the general consensus was that it was because the program's workload is thought to be high (this was the thought for a while but I don't know how it compares to other programs). The program has taken a lot of positive steps though since then and has eliminated a lot of home call. My thoughts are that exactly because that fellow quit, this is the right time to come to Wash U because they are trying to be "softer" on fellows. You can't argue with the reputation of the hospital as a whole and Siteman Cancer center seems to be growing....
Does anyone know what dates NYU is holding interviews?
For those invited to Tufts, could anybody get hold of P-Co?
I have difficulties reaching couple of P-COs....
