Okay so technically I got “no motion detected” near Pippy on N1 and “no result” on N2, so there is a small distinction between those two.

It was the true champs experience...similar thing happened during my qualifier last time, except village lost lol

I actually thought Sporty might flip village because my reads were so bad this game, so I was justifying this by telling myself it was good practice with the majority format.

Kinda thought we'd hammer and just move on, and figured you & Sporty wouldn't hate having the night off before you leave tomorrow, either. Oops but also not oops.

I agree with point #1. April is definitely in the running for most improved player or best noob this year.

I've really enjoyed watching her improve every game.

I would totally agree. April is great all around.

I do think I was picking up a lil sketch on her, but that was only isolated things by PbPa and she was doing something that emotionally made me not want to vote her, which pinged me, but was still a bit effective at getting me not to want to vote her. If she hadn't sus on me I think I would have been totally fooled. She had a lot of solid posts that struck me very village.

Which If you really are village, you cleared her publicly based off a perceived difference. So one must exist for your statement to work as a villager. But also if you are a wolf, you may have also perceived or even have coached a difference.

also I thought telling WZ of all people to do that when she can’t do such a thing in the tournament... I’m glad she didn’t.

I want to know what packs it is where you can coach another player to the point that that their *tone* across multiple points changes. I've offered in a million packs to proofread posts and almost never had it taken up.

I've also never seen that level of coaching or someone implement advice to that level.

Being a wolf tends to change tone but I've never seen one wolf affect another wolf's tone in this way ever.

Lol since when is generating more data to analyze NOT good for village? It’s a data point amongst others, I don’t vote based on reaction tests alone and don’t advocate it, but if your analysis ends up in line with other things you find scummy or townie, then it strengthens your read.
I also have strong opinions on voting only when someone hits a threshold of evidence but I don’t want to derail the game, just wanted to capitalize on a teaching moment.

I've really, really missed having you in games.

Not sure where to move to if it looks like mkg will be modkilled.

My concerns about alley have been mostly allayed by her explanation. Ditto for mayo’s D1 explanation of his tone change and apparent Dubz vote reasoning change.

I’m worried about mel in a very amorphous “I’ve only played with this guy once and he sounds like he did then - agreeable, helpful, but unpredictable and his thought process on many players is kind of mysterious, in a way that makes me worry he’s playing the thread with warm pockets and being allowed to get away with withholding analysis/reads and throwing out sus without fully explaining them” way. Dunno if that’s enough for me to feel comfortable voting him - nothing specifically has pinged me although there were a couple posts towards the beginning that people who’ve played with him more were troubled by. Also I kind of want to put down a vote on him when he has a chance to defend himself, not when he’s already behind and trying to catch up with less than an hour.

I’ve gone over a lot of things about z that have felt villagey or wolfy, and him pointing out that mkg will likely be modkilled is another teeny village point in my eyes (with the caveat that they could maybe be w/w). Leaning wolf but I don’t know that I want to go there yet. Admittedly I really enjoy village Z’s analysis and I’m always adverse to yeeting him unless I feel pretty confident he’s a wolf.

Sporty and Bread I’m neutral on. Haven’t had strong pings either way from anything they’

The tie makers don’t die if I interpreted the rule correctly. It said ties are resolved by RNG which I assumed meant between the ones in the tie, not anyone involved. I could be wrong though.

Well, probably. Since when you said this, there were 7 people with active votes and 10 people on the board with votes at some point. (Are you using stats, or inside info tho? /s)

That was from day 1. I don’t delete anything from my reads. Only add. So you can become the #1 poster on the thread, exceeding the max daily, and I will still not remove that. And I’ve already explained in like 5 other games why that is my policy on my notes.

That was point #1. This post you commented on is that even if sincere/non sketchy I don’t think they’re very accurate except in very specific instances.

Eh, like nothing we do in WW is very accurate. We have to do a LOT of things to get more accurate and win games as villagers - VCA (but account for bussing), NKA (but account for WIFOM/unknowns), PbPa (but still look at other things/holistics), every method on this list has its plusses and every one has a way it can be fail/be defeated/blindspots/weak points, so it's often only by a combination that one can make up for the flaws in each. This is true of reaction tests as well.

You were probably one of the most heavily village read players in this game! I know it might not mean much coming from a wolf but you sounded very villagey lol. After your D1 intro I really didn't have any leverage to use against you as a misyeet.

The village read from post tone/her analysis was enough to counter any wolfiness that might have been otherwise suspected from VCA or her reads being off. That's a great thing, because being able to be correctly read as village even when you're wrong is super useful. It's just a good way not to contribute to more misyeets which can be easy to do otherwise.

I agree! Felt village vibes coming from alley which was a good thing to be able to lean on in addition to feeling like interactions with april about zenge weren't w/w

Yes to all of this. Being correctly identified as village and correctly identifying other villagers is just as important 🙂 removing yourself from the potential misyeet pool is a big deal.
