Hey everyone-
I applied in May, interviewed in July and am part of the “hear back by August” group.
I have to finally say something here. I really think that this is absurd. I understand there is a process and to go through it, but at this point, High Point is seemingly just lying. I waited 9 months last year to ultimately just not hear anything until they closed in February. I’ve been waiting 7 months this year. I read here everyone else feels the same or has it worse.
This has been an extremely taxing process and has been negatively affecting my marriage and my mental health. If the process is going to take time fine, but being left in the dark for so long and told to not reach out is gross. If I get accepted, I don’t even know if it’s worth it. Is the program going to be run the same way where as a student I don’t get answers or a reply is too late. This has me thinking this might be how the program is run and if that is the case, is it worth giving hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt to this school which doesn’t showcase professional communication or back their words.
It has made me see the school as kind of unreliable and untrustworthy. I think their actions are speaking volumes on this process and it’s broken me down a bit mentally. I needed to say something but I feel a lot of what I reviewed is their action and behavior.
