Yo-

Any good bostonians/cambridge people who got nothing in the mail today? As all the rejections/acceptances are sent out @ the same time, I'm a little confused at having a mailbox in cambridge and getting nil today.

umm..here in brookline 10 steps to HMS and nothin' in the mail here either..sniffle sniffle... 😱 🙁

yeah, it'll be cool if at least some people who expect rejection get in! i think i'll survive if i see the small envelope, too. but no matter what, i'm going to be nervous when i check the mailbox!!

Matt, you actually don't need much luck 'cause you already know you got in but really, if anyone deserves to get in it is you. I wish you, more than anyone else that has gotten in or is waiting to, the very best. Patrick tells me all about your work and it is very, very impressive and real. You're clearly Harvard material and a leader.

Now, if I could only get over my most certain rejection....

Most post-interview decisions seem to NP only...what about HST?

Just want to know if I should be expecting one or two rejections.

I won't believe anything until I get a letter. But thanks - though I know Harvard most definitely rejected outright some applicants that were clearly more qualified than myself.....

Oh boy, that's interesting. So "could not log on" doesn't keep you from making the waitlist! There's hope!

Hmm... no log on but waitlisted. All hope is not lost. Given that the waitlisted people all received financial aid info in previous years that at least gives me a sliver of hope that the financial aid log on is also not 100%.

Good, so now I'll get to experience the full extent of sorrow when my rejection comes. I was a little worried this thread's speculation was going to rob me of that. And after all, isn't agonized waiting and sadness what we're all in this for in the first place? 😀

We, the presumed unfortunates, are collecting data here. It's the only source of hope. Please rather than simply announcing your certainly joyous news (followed by that hanting exclamation mark), include the necessary info. Please.

This is why they need to do things by email. But I have already talked myself into believing that rejection is no big deal. So there. Good luck to you!
