I'm just wondering, if someone was dead set on wanting to do linkage after getting accepted to one of these top post-bacc programs, what is the likeliness that this will be accomplished?
Bumping this back up. Is there anyone out there that successfully linked from the post-bac programs at Goucher, Bryn Mawr, Hopkins, or Scripps? How much medical experience does a career changer need to successfully link? I'm coming from the finance world and have about 120 shadowing hours and 70 volunteer hours.
@longhaul3 I'm presently trying to decide between Johns Hopkins and Scripps. Hopkins has a lot more linkage opportunities compared to Scripps, but I also think the academics are more challenging and less of a sure bet. What does a "good" application for linkage look like without significant clinical work? I've not been through the linkage process so would appreciate learning more. Thanks!
