How early is early to apply?

I plan on applying to a few schools the day AASDAS opens even though i did not take DAT yet
(my advisor suggested this)

However, I just learned that the financial assistance waiver (FAP) that would cover these schools would not kick in until 2 weeks after AASDAS open (June 16)


Is this an issue that should be considered or is it negligible?

ps: waiver is ~500 dollars so it would help a lot

Negligible, if you qualify for waiver and need it, use the waiver. DAT also has waiver, so see if you also qualify for that.
