To study for the DAT and things like that. I'll be in my first year as pre-dental this year, and I bought the Kaplan book, just out of curiousity of what was on the DAT, but i've enjoyed studying it enough to where I would want to study more. Is it to early to buy other books like cliffs bio and such?

Its never too early to start studying. If you like doing it, then go for it! If you are forcing yourself to study, then its too early!

I don't think there is a such thing as too early. Most of the people on this site wish they new they started as early as you. Start studying and doing well in Bio., Gen Chem, O Chem, Math and English classes. Start looking into Predental Simulation courses. Start shadowing a dentist. Make a timeline for your application. Build relationships with your science professors so when the time comes you feel comfortable asking them for a letter of recommendation.
