I'm sorry, but people with anything lower than a 23 ACT are. just dumb.

Ah I don't know what to do. Completely transfer or just boost my GPA. I guess to show that it was financial, complete transfer.

Naw it's because you can't hang with the crowd you think you belong to. Welcome to the rest of us peasants

No, I'm saying, considering that community colleges/some state schools accept anyone and people generally go where is cheaper/the best school they could get into, smart students will be mixed in with lots of students who aren't as smart/don't try as hard.
How.. do you know I don't go to Hopkins? I said top, as in at least ranked top 10.

I cannot even fathom how you could extrapolate an ACT score from someone dropping the mic. I do not know what kind of physics you are being taught, but it is well beyond my years, apparently.

Nope, just that all students here can be compared to any top students at community colleges. But for whatever reason, they all get pushed out of the pool.
So, I'm doing what will benefit me with admissions, my wallet, and my TIME! 😀

I love that your example is from a class in 2002 that no one has even taken in this decade. But did you take AP Chem?
LOL No, I took normal Chemistry and used my knowledge of equations to help many of my older friends in their HARD Chemistry classes at community colleges.

Also, I can't find any community college/other college exams. Crappy schools like to hide them for obvious reasons.

But I still knew my friends' logins, I would.

Well you still haven't shown us your exam questions despite multiple people asking. Soo don't really know what to tell you.

I meant for med school. You need to be one of the best students from one of the best universities to stand a good chance of going there as a medical student. Either that or have published some groundbreaking research and be at the top of your class in a more mid-tier university. To get into Hopkins as an undergraduate, you just need to do better than a bunch of bratty teenagers that happen to share a high school with you, do some volunteering, score well on a couple easy standardized tests, and write a good essay to get in. That's not even close to the same level of accomplishment and in no way makes you exceptional.

Who asked? My school doesn't post exams and we return them...

I don't care about getting into Hopkins. If I did, I would have went to a non-deflating, decent school. Even putting rigor aside, what's the point of me wasting my money (and then later more money) and time compared to other kids? The fact that I have access to more EC's? Ha okay. I made a mistake. I'm over it. I'll start my post-bacc at a local college this summer.

I think she meant to reply to me. All that genius and she's totally incapable of clicking the right "reply" button.

Either that or she's learning Interpretive Physics, a combination of interpretive dance and physics that is kept from plebs like us that allows her to make such incredible inferrences.

Your a Sophomore........ You have to have a Bachelors to start a post bacc genius

I'm not trying to say anyone on here isn't smart. I'm pretty sure the smartest premeds are on here that would do great even when at schools like MIT. But, what I'm saying is, the knowledge I've gained with my 3.2 could easily get A's at most other schools in my hometown with 1/10 of the work.

LOL. Examples posted:

so was that yours or your friends exam? because it was not very complicated if you studied the material.

I'm out.

Friends'. Although my friends at community colleges get multiple choice answers, so even easier.

The fact that you think one has to study much for that exam.

The reason our school makes exams so hard? Because if they gave us those kind^, we'd all have As and there would be no distribution of grades because we're smarter.
The reason easy schools give those kinds of exams. Because if they didn't, many would fail.

LOL everyone on SDN must go to terrible schools, poor kids couldn't even get good grades in high school.

It's good that you've learned your place, even if you haven't learned what post-bacc means.

I called it a post-bacc... because it's the same thing to me. It's ridiculous to have to wait to graduation to start improving grades at easier schools.

Honestly, what are you looking for in this thread? Advice? You've seemed to reject everyones. Sympathy? You aren't going to get that by stating everyone is lesser than you.

Its called a TRANSFER. You have to be a TROLL.

Post bacc- post baccalaureate

Read it slowly.

No, I think I need to ask MD students who went to top schools. Will do so.

No, it's not dummy.

I will continue to take classes for my major here and other sciences there.

Therefore I will be both a FULL TIME student here and a part time student there. Damn.

I mean, obvious troll is obvious. But then again, there are some serious people on SDN that feel like this poster. I can't count the number of "I regret going to X University because it destroyed my GPA but my friends are all getting As! No fair!" threads I've seen over the years.

Explain yourself fully then.

TRANSIENT. Genius.

This is assuming your school lets you complete transient coursework. Most top 50's, as you said you are in, do not do so.

Not if I do my pre-reqs here and just other sciences/retakes there.
My school takes no outside credit, clearly THEY understand my point ha.

And I'm sure your performance will shoot through the roof and your GPA will make the gods weep at its beauty. Go complain to the premed club at your school if you aren't a troll, the rest of us here will just be laughing at you because your problems are ridiculous and the stupidity of your arguments has been exceeded only by their arrogance.

You do realize that when we say your school does not accept transient coursework, you CANNOT enroll in another university, yes?

Why not?...
I'm pretty sure I'm allowed to have two transcripts, like many post-baccs...

That's how transient coursework works. You have to get permission from your school in order to take those classes.
Why would they even have to know? Many Orgo students take Orgo at CC's before taking it here.

They can see where you are enrolled. If you honestly thing you're going to be able to sneak behind your institution's back and take a few classes without your permission, you are hopeless. They may very well take it before, I am not denying that fact. But while they are at the university, they had to get permission to take transient coursework.

Okay, so credit isn't allowed, but pretty sure being enrolled elsewhere is. That would be pretty ridiculous as even some top schools accept credit at other universities.

So this is the official SDN argument thread now right? We have covered grammar, school and curriculum, memes, attacked each others intelligence, and listened to OP whine about sucking at school and belittle everybody else because her school is "harder". Isn't it time for this mindless argumentation to stop? That way OP can go back to making straight B's at a school that is too smart for her and we can study for our ****** classes at our respective state schools and make A's. In reality that is all it comes down to, OP chose a school that is on an intellectual level way above his own and is bitter and angry because she has to watch the average UG student make A's at a state school while she capped at a B. In the end we will end up in our respective med schools/grad school because we chose a school that fit our intellectual level, while OP picked a school out of her league and is getting burned for it now. To be honest if she spent 1/2 the time studying that he has spent on here he whining and lashing out and belittling others he could be a 4.0 student.

I'm not saying it isn't. I'm saying you cannot enroll elsewhere without permission from the university. If you could do this, you could be an MIT student graduating with an MIT degree taking courses at a community college. Sure, you can enroll elsewhere. That said, your institution is going to ask why you cannot take your prerequisite class at their institution, and medical schools will ask the same. If you say for finical reasons, that is good and well and all, except if it were for financial reasons, having the cost to apply and enroll in a different institution on top of your current one would seem highly unlikely.

She, genius.
B+
I'm sure you attend a great institution without the ability to even look at my gender thing.

EDIT:
Oh you get As and Bs at a state school. I get B+'s HERE. The end.

Fairly certain OP is a she, not trying to bash your post at all though. I am hoping that OP is genuinely not a troll and that there is someone under that trollish exterior that actually does need advice (see: not knowing about transient coursework).
