Medical How should I answer secondary question about a project?

"Give an example of a project to which you gave sustained effort. How were you involved in the leadership of this project?" Could this being a teaching assistant or does it have to be research/an assignment?

A job or volunteer gig as a TA doesn't strike me as what is meant by "a project." Since they clearly want a discussion of your leadership and maybe teamwork involvement, think back on your leadership activities and decide if any are relevant. If that doesn't work, have you done any painting projects/home improvement/rehab, furniture moving for an older relative, yard cleanup through a faith organization, rebuilding of an engine, organized a party or entertainment, etc.

Yes, it could refer to your research, but did you take a leadership role? It could also refer to a team project in a class, like a design effort in engineering, for example. If you have other thoughts, feel free to ask an opinion.

Projects have specific goals, tasks, and measurable progress towards accomplishments. There also should be some measure of vision, planning, and adjustment. Research can count, but TA usually doesn't.
