I hope something a bit more solid comes up, as protector isn't a good one to lose. Yes, three attack claims sound excessive, but what an odd thing to declare if not true.

I'm a little torn on what to do. Obviously I know I'm a vilager. So between trh and MJ...I don't want to risk losing our protector if that's who trh is. On the other hand, what wolf pack would attack the same player three days in a row? And it seems odd for her to be able to protect herself that many times. Maybe they converted her after realizing they couldn't kill her.

There's also the possibility that MJ was converted, but I don't see a reason to convert him. He's bound to be up for lynch sooner or later.

And then there's the small chance that Promo's list is just completely wrong.

I'd like to point out that the only wolf we've found was a trial in the arena and not a person. That may not be true for all wolves, but it leans towards Gale being town. Besides, Gale is an important enough person that that role has probably been assigned to a player by the mods. It'd be really risky to claim it as your role when it's not.

Last WW game, I had 3 abilities -- one of them was asking the mods about game mechanics, but it turned out to be completely faulty. That was admittedly an STL game, but it has been done before! Unfortunately, we may not know if we can trust your info until we've gone through your list. 🙁

Curious question, how long have you had said item? It it specifically yours, or is it one of the rotating items, items of which I've gotten the bow.

As I said, I don't know that I was attacked. I know that I have a protective item that appeared to activate on a morning after a "scuffle." I assume it was a foiled attack. It must not be a rotating item, since I still carry it.

I'm Gale, have the power to protect, have protected myself and been attacked at least three times.

Just as Allie lied about having the power to protect and block when her head was on the chopping block, I think that it is possible That Redhead threw that out there to try to save herself when she was in extremis. And it seems to have worked wonders. It turned the tide so that we lynched a valuable innocent.

So, out of 4 people picked to be evaluated for wolfiness, two claim vanilla, one was definitely a special, and one claims it. Is it really likely that the net I cast fairly randomly would have dredged up two valuable roles at once?

That was what Katniss's thought initially. He showed that his allegiance was to her.

Honestly I don't remember it that well because it's been a while but I researched the character when I got it, and that's what the wikis have led me to believe.

Though... Gale and Katniss have had their problems along the way, and they don't end up in a happily ever after situation... quoting the wikia:

It would be ironic if a wolf claiming Gale the Protector caused the lynching of Prim.

No, I think if Gale is a wolf then Katniss and President Coin are 100% wolves. I could see both Katniss and President Coin being wolves without Gale being a wolf at all. I can for sure see President Coin being a wolf and Katniss and Gale not be....

In this order of wolfiness based on what dyachei and I discussed.

President Coin> Katniss>> Gale

We talked about this quite a bit. However, I think it is what @Lupin21 stated and dyachei went a different direction. I don't think we are looking for people as wolves necessarily. I think we are looking for elements in the game similar to the fog/blood rain.


Basically, Katniss is only in this whole deal for herself. She uses both Peeta and Gale to her advantage in order to get as far as she can, save herself and to try to save her family. The only thing she cares about in the whole ordeal is to be alone with her family, safe. If Gale is going to be a wolf, Katniss will be.

I don't think either of them are wolves though.

President Coin is a toss-up as we both agreed there is no way President Coin can be anything but a wolf. However, I still think we are only looking for the elements within the game, not people.

Though... Gale and Katniss have had their problems along the way, and they don't end up in a happily ever after situation... quoting the wikia:

After Gale is healed he goes to build weapons with Beetee. Katniss is sad that he is making weapons that could hurt innocent people in the process and he tells her he is playing by the rule book Snow plays with .... Katniss asks if it was his bomb that killed Prim. Gale isn't sure... Yes, Snow was town. Think about that. We have found one wolf... what was that wolf? Not a person? I think that is the biggest hint we have, that chances are very good we are not looking for people/characters to be wolves but instead game elements.
