Sorry I won't, but I only just submitted my AMCAS to them. How long ago did you submit?

She just added them to her AMCAS. She submitted the actual app long ago. Like me she didn;t realize it was a school worthy of applying to becasue they take so few out of staters.

oh okay....I've taken a break from this site....was around a lot more last year....sometimes you just need a break from all this talk after things don't go well...so, I didn't know

I have no clue if I'm considered out of state or not....my permanent address is in MI, but I moved to Indy (living with my dad) for my year off in mid August...so, who knows?

I thought Indiana didn't have a secondary. 😕 They told me they would ask for letters of req "if" I get invited for an interview.

no essays just forms basically...I think it was one form (not sure abotu that though), the money, and 2 extra letters of rec (one personal and one from the Dean of Students). (I had already had my committee letter sent earlier. They wanted an advisor letter or a committee letter too along with those other 2).

That's what I got anyways.

I guess so...that's what I got and had to do...not that she knew me while I was in school, but hey, they asked for it and I gave it to them.

just to see if you're in good standing (discipline-wise) in your school and haven't been cited for academic dishonesty or kicked out of the dorms, etc.
It's easy to get.

Have fun at your interview! It's a long day...but the box lunch is fantastic. 🙂

thanks 🙂 I'm nervous, since it's the first one of this try, and I jsut want it to go well. (a repeat of last year would be very nice to avoid...but at least I don't have to deal with that whole getting seriously ill in the middle of everything this time)

what if you've already graduated?

that was actually my situation. I graduated in August, so I jsut contacted the Dean of Students and told her I needed the form filled out and sent back to IU; she said okay, so I mailed it to her (since I'm now about 5-6 hours form where I went to school), she filled it out quickly and sent it to IU for me. It wasn't difficult.

What a frickin' pain! MedicineBird . . . you know UI isn't going to get that thing out in a timely manner. We're so screwed. Maybe I'll request mine now, for next year, when I have to reapply.

I called but got no answer. I'll try again Monday.

Yeah. It comes in a big white envelope that says "the first for years of a lifetime of healing." They send them on the 15th of every month 'til March and then "as needed" after that. So be on the lookout around the 17th of the next few months. 🙂 g'luck.
