Hello friends,

Just a few questions about how interning in a biotech company would be seen in terms of research. I worked two summers (plus this next summer) at a blood diagnostics company working on some clinical trial stuff as well as an independent research project for which a publication is in the works.

Will this get looked upon similarly to undergrad research? I worked almost 1000 hours in this company and I feel like I gained a lot of good experience with research that is directly related to healthcare. I never managed to work in an academic lab, and I'm wondering if this will make up for it.

Any advice is much appreciated!

Thanks!

If you can talk about it intelligently, I'm sure it is fine.
