Hi all,
I finished undergrad a little less than three years ago and was a non-science major. Over the course of the last few months I have decided to change gears and become a physician. I need to get the pre-reqs for med school completed, and I am going to do this through a post-bac program. In the second half of January I applied to the post-baccalaureate programs at Thomas Jefferson University (one-year track), Bryn Mawr College, and Temple University (BCMS track). I have interviews for all three coming up.
I was wondering if anyone who has gone through post-bac interviews before would have any suggestions on how to prepare for these. I know that I should be able to discuss what I've written in my applications and be able to articulate my reasons for changing careers and my desire to become a physician. Any other advice?
Additionally, Temple's interview says that the day will include "three activities at the clinical skills facility". Would anyone be able to elaborate on what this means?
I'd be happy to post any stats or anything else about my background that may be of use to others.
Thanks
