Hi,
I just wanted to hear from some people who have gone through the application process and I wanted to find out when Interview season typicallly starts? I've seen some people on the forum have interviews in October, while I've seen some people on this Forum not interview until the Spring...

If it helps any I am interested in the following schools:

STLCOP (Difficult probably to get in as a transfer student but will try anyway)
SIUE (Southern Illinois University Edwardsville)
Creighton University (Distance pathway--REALLY interested in this!)
UMKC
South University
Mercer
University of Southern Nevada
University of Georgia

I think that's it for now...
Thanks in advance for your help!

Rolling schools have interviews from October to August. You usually get notified quite promptly of the decisions from rolling schools. Non-rolling schools generally have interview sessions from December - April. Most schools give you their decisions generally 2 to 8 weeks after the interview. The sooner the response, the more likely it is that the news is good.

This is helpful. I guess I will have to look to see which schools have rolling and non-rolling admissions. Thank you for your help!

I can tell you that Mercer starts to send out invites in September. Creighton usually starts in December at the earliest. UMKC only conducts 2 interview sessions in March--usually the 2nd and 4th Saturdays.

More importantly - When do the application(s) become available... PharmCAS typically opens up sometime in July. It is very important to get your application done early. The interview season follows the application cycle - Worry about the app first - interview second.

I heard that Pharmcas opens June 1st, not July. I know it's better to get your app in as soon as possible so you'll have a better chance of having a shot...

It is June 1st. Like everyone says, get everything done FAST. That's definitely something I would have changed. I didn't get everything done until around November. I started interviewing in Feb.

What school did you get accepted to? I noticed on your signature that it is listed as "Accepted Pharmacy Student".

Thanks!
