Does anybody know how many indiana residents have applied to IUSD this year?
Do they focus more on GPA or DAT scores?

I'm not sure about the number of in-state applicants.
I did interviews today with the head of the admissions committee, & he mentioned that IUSD has received over 2000 out-of-state applications so far, up from ~1600 last year and ~1200 the year prior.
GPA & DAT are both important components of the application, along with the interview. A particularly strong DAT can help make up for a questionable GPA & vice versa, but you can't skimp too far on either. Good luck with your application.
