Might as well create it. Surely some people will find it helpful, and if people don't want to follow the page they don't have to. Also, dang you submitted that deposit quick haha!
 
I think the waitlist does not move until the end of "Jan" based on what I noticed from the previous posts of IUSD!
 
Do you guys know when the first deposit is due for the students who got accepted?

I would be cool with that too..I am on the FB page but no one really mentions anything in there.
 
Hey guys, I am a class of 2021 student and wanted to let you know that we made a Facebook group for you guys so if you have any questions that the current students can answer (especially since we’re about to go on break) you can do so there.

(SDN didn’t let me post the link so just search: Indiana University School of Dentistry Class of 2022)

Also provisional acceptance means you have to pay the deposit in order to officially accept your spot. You should be receiving a follow up email about it
 
I received it also. For a split second before opening it I thought I was being informed I was off the waitlist. No such luck.
 
Did anyone get an email from CERTIPHI for a background check from IU? I got one from Tufts, but not IU.

My email from them was just in general it didn’t say what schools I was accepted too it just said since you have been accepted to a school or schools that require a background check please complete it. Something like that. The info goes through ADEA so for any school you accepted an offer from they can see it. Check out the thread I made about all of the emails I’ve gotten from IU. It’s posted above in this thread.

if you click around, there is actually a list of schools that require it. Some schools require fingerprinting, ect.

Yeah I submit my background check through CERTIPHI. Haven't heard confirmation from IU about whether or not they have received the results though.
 
Is there a deadline for submitting the background check? Or is it just something you submit whenever you can?
 
Got accepted off the waitlist today!!!! so excited !!!!

Yes, do an academic update. You can move within the wait list.
 
It looks like the class is finalized for now. Probably won't see a movement in the waitlist until second deposit date. When is second deposit due? April 1st?

There isn't a second deposit. But there will be movement come May as students holding multiple spots will be forced into a final decision.
