If you're a predent, you could join ASDA. I'm not sure on the cost as a predental student. Your membership will get you access to their website with lots of helpful info as well as the monthly ASDA publication and a subscription to MOUTH magazine which you would probably find to be a more basic (easier to understand) magazine if you are new to dentistry. MOUTH is a quarterly magazine---(I think) and there's usually lots of interesting info in there from dental students across the country.
Also, you could go to the Crest dental professional site---the also have a free online publication.
