hey everyone,

i just got to anxious about the wait so i went ahead and emailed Jackie to see how the list is going and this is what she said

"You are moving right along. I think it’s highly likely you’ll get called within the next few weeks. Relax!"


so i guess the list is moving along! hopefully we all get called soooooooon.
 
Did anyone receive an email from jackie saying that you will be receiving an offer within the next week or two? and that they will be sending you the matriculation packet now so you can start on it?

i just got the email today. Hopefully some of you did as well!!

Where were you on the waitlist? Which percentage???? Also, I noticed you were on PBA's waiting list, so if you get in to both where will you go? I'm also on PBA's as well as LECOM. Just curious! I haven't heard anything from PBA really since. Either way, congrats! I hope to get that same e-mail too!

Im in the top 30% of the alternate list at Lecom. As for PBA, i emailed them awhile ago and they said i was in the top half. i havent heard anything ever since. I am also waiting to hear back from UF. my choices are UF>Lecom>PBA

This is very strange because I just emailed Jackie last night wondering on how the list is moving and she replied with:

"The Alternate List is moving along slowly. It is possible you will be receiving an offer from us. If you would like to check back in a few weeks, I will be able to update you on your status."

I am in the top 30% of the list too... I wonder why different people are getting different responses.

that is very strange!.....lecom is just keeping us all worried :/
it would've been much better if we all just knew what number we were.
 
Yeah I wish they would tell us well I emailed Jackie again and she sent me the marticulation packet via email and the p1 book list and told me to review the material so "if and when" I am accepted that I can get the material done in a timely manner. She is really toying with my emotions today isn't she? lol

haha. well they did say that based on past history, almost everyone if not everyone got in. lets stay positive and hope the ppl that arent planning to go to lecom to drop fasterrrrr!

Well atleast thats good news I don't even know what I am gonna do about housing yet either. So much to do I wish they would just accept the top 30% and make our lives easier. 🙄

well theres a couple apartments that are right by the school...i dont think they would run out of space yet? lol hopefully. well as long as they let us all know in july some time...at least we would have a couple of weeks to look around. school doesnt start until the 23rd of aug.

OMG congrats!! &to think I started looking at apartments in atlanta today cause I was getting nervous about lecom!! I really hope to hear something in the next 3 weeks, at least a "we are sending you the matriculation packet just in case" LOL. :laugh:

Hey pdpraw,

Congratulations on your acceptance! Trust me when I saw, we are all jealous right now lol. If you don't mind, could you ask Jackie how long the alternate list is/was? And if you don't mind disclosing it, what number you were? I think she might be more willing to tell you that information since you have now been accepted. It would help others, including myself, gauge some sort of timeline.

Dude congrats!!! I am hoping to get a call soon I am also in the top 30% and Jackie sent me the marticulation information through email to review she did not mention it being mailed though. Just :xf: and waiting it out right now.

What is the average pcat score for those students that got accepted?
I have a 69 pcat score, 3.7 gpa, and I will have a degree. Is that good enough for Lecom Bradenton?

Any advice would help, thanks.

Only the school can tell you the average score for the PCAT. They showed the PCAT average during my interview.

I think those are very solid figures you have. Have you applied or is planning on it?

I don't know what the average PCAT/GPA is but I got accepted this year and have a 3.54 gpa and a 74 composite PCAT and I have a BS degree. Hope that helps.
 
Is Lecom Bradenton really hard to get in compared to other private schools?

I called today and Jackie told me there are 15 people ahead of me... which is a lot better than I thought it'd be! Haha.
I asked her if that was around the middle of the list, and she said that it's a little higher. I'd estimate around 50 people on the wait list.

She said it'd be likely for me to get a call in the next few weeks, and that she'd email me some forms to look at.

Were you on the top 30% of the list?
 
No idea, sorry. I had just asked today where I was on the list. I never knew my percent rank in the beginning when they first made it.

Oh okay just emailed Jackie she said

"You are moving along. I’ll probably be sending you an email within the week so you can begin working on some of the paper work. At this point, I would say it is highly likely you’ll be offered an acceptance. Hang in there!"

Guess thats promising.

wow that sounds goood. I should go ahead and ask her how many people are head of me also!

aggghhh....5 more days and itll be a month since i called jackie. i dont understand why they just cant tell us exactly where we are on the list. but oh wells, from the emails she said a couple weeks...so lets hope its next weeek!

i agree. from the first email i emailed to find out where on the list...jackie said its highly likely to receive an offer within the next month, sooooo i guess I'll just have to call her to see whats up on the 7th.

I just called Jackie and asked her about the list. She said that i was in the top 10 people on the list right now to be called. But she also its very likely you will be getting a call in the next few weeks. It seems as the list is moving quite slowwww. Nonetheless, it is a promising spot for the most part! Even if slow, it is moving guys 👍

I wonder why the list is moving so slow. Is everyone accepting their offers? Is the class almost full? It sucks waiting..lol

Lucky you! I called to make sure she got a transcript and asked about the list and she told me to call her next week and that it was moving slow. I'm going to Atlanta next week and plan on making a decision by the 19-20th. So if I don't get promising news by then i'll be declining my Alternate spot! 😕
