"Prerequisite deficiencies will be indicated on the Admissions Tab under "Required Courses and Letters". Click "View Folder Items" on the right side of the screen.
Prerequisite deficiencies will be indicated on the portal for the following reasons :< br>
1. Course indicated as "not enrolled." If this is the circumstance, please indicate by e-mail (
[email protected]) if you plan to take the course by the end of the spring term 2011. Please do not call the office; we require written verification.
2. Planned courses (Fall, Winter, Spring) will be listed as deficiencies until we receive a transcript indicating that course grade (This will not delay your file from going to committee).
3. Any prerequisite course or lab with a grade of C- will be listed as deficient and must be retaken.
4. If all of your required courses and letters and other admissions criteria are marked complete, then your file will go to committee for a review.
5. PERTAINS TO FOUR-YEAR DEGREE APPLICANTS. Any applicant that has a four year degree or will have a degree by spring 2011, the PCAT will be waived, however if you are planning to take the PCAT exam and did not indicate it on your PharmCAS application, please notify the Admissions office (
[email protected]) in the event you are selected for an interview you would not be required to take the written assessment. If you are not planning to take the PCAT, applicants interviewed would be required to take a written assessment during the interview day.
6. PERTAINS TO NON DEGREE APPLICANTS. Any applicant that will not have a degree will be required to take the PCAT exam. Your file cannot be reviewed by committee and will remain on hold until the PCAT scores arrive in our office. The January 2011 PCAT will be the last exam we accept for the 2010-2011 application cycle.
7. Two letters of recommendation are required. One of the letters must be from a science professor. Your file will remain on hold until both letters arrive in our office."
if you do what is listed above you are good to go..
