Hello lovely people! I would love to get some insight about each of these schools to help with my final decision :)

Touro- NV

Pros

  • pre-recorded/recorded lectures with no mandatory attendance
  • P/F curriculum (but still ranked)
  • all rotations are local
  • Excellent match rate and boards pass rate
  • Closer to home
Cons
  • research opportunities not affiliated directly with touro, have to reach out to nearby universities
LECOM- Erie (PBL Pathway)

Pros

  • local affiliated rotations
  • teaching hospital access
  • excellent match list and board pass rate
  • plenty of research opportunities
  • cheaper tuition (around 35,000)
Cons
  • would need access to a car and learn to drive in the snow (I live in Cali and have never driven in the snow)
  • graded curriculum with mandatory attendance
  • heard administration had issues

Do you have an interest in ortho? LECOM has an in-house program for that.

Otherwise, up to whether you want to save the money but live across the country or be within a short flight home at Touro.
