We've just gotten about 42 inches of rain here today... The tornadoes were in Middle and West Tennessee. Apparently they were crazy.....

I wish it would have been colder and all that rain would have been snow... An inch of rain = 4 inches of snow... 🙂

I LOVE that movie. It's so stupid, but so hilarious. Kinda like Zoolander. These are my favorite quotes:

what is everyone's opinion on the computerized mcats? I took my mcat over 3 years ago and it was paper...I like being able to write on the actual test paper to figure out the answer...

I used to hate those tests in HS or College where you could not write on the test booklet at all and you had to use scratch paper..drove me nuts


is the computer version harder/easier? better/worse?

Hard to say, but probably not. Of course I dont think I'm a good judge because I liked both of those movies and I don't like Dumb and dumber. So who knows.

SUCKED!!!!! I need to underline, use my finger, etc while testing. Especially missed being able to cross out answers. Granted you can underline by highlighting and cross out by right clicking, BUT the crossing out did not work on my computer and the underlining thing is a paint in the *** with the ****ty mouses on the OLD computers.

Oh and my personal horror story, which I'm sure some of you thought of as a potential worst nightmare. My computer actually FROZE during my writing sample! I was worried that not only my 1st two sections would be gone, but that I lost my writing too! Luckily it was all saved on some online server.

As far as how my score compared, I only took it once and it was only online, so I couldn't tell you. I was ranging from about 29 - 35 on my practice tests, and ended up with a 30Q which is fairly decent, but I would have loved to take it on paper. I bet I would have gotten higher.

Haha, it's ok. Just be happy that you have the freedom to check the MCAT scores every day. When my scores came out I was abroad and my host mom didn't have internet. I had to wait 2 days after they came out until I could find a computer with internet. Oh man that sucked... I'm sure you did fine though. And if you think about it, it's only 20 more days which is just under 3 weeks which a lot less than a month and so it'll be here before you realize it. 😀

I do love Sandler. Although punch drunk love kind of freaked me out. I'm still not sure what it was about exactly. Has anyone seen the Reign Over Me movie? I wanted to see it when it came out but never got the chance.

Punch drunk love was just really, really weird. Not your typical Sandler movie at all. And while those two are wonderful choices, I will always have a special place in my heart for Happy Gilmore. I have it on VHS. 😀
