It really varies. Some people hear back within a week, others it is longer. I was in the 3rd interview group of the season, so mine came really soon on (plus I live in Knoxville and getting a last second call wasn't a problem).how long was it until, everyone received their interviews after their application is complete? I gave lmu my new mcat score last week. My stats are 3.63, 3.42 sci, 26 mcat (10p9b7v)
You should look up what it means to "superman" (from the song) on that same siteThanks! Because I had no idea what that meant.

We should get together with the boat sometime...I need an excuse to fire up the Waverunner...and blow off some steam.
Over spring break, I plan to get it out and shine it up and get it ready to be abused for my two months off this summer (if I can afford the gas).

That's what I thought when I first saw it! They were talking about looking it up on that site on the radio, but they would never say what it was...so I had to go look for myself. Kind of funny how popular that song is and no one thinks about what they're actually singing aboutUgh hoss!! That is all kinds of wrong!!![]()
Hey!!! I was a gymnastics coach for 10 years (started at age 15, ended last August), was a competitive gymnast for too many years to count, and was a competitive water skiier (ranked 3rd in the state of Missouri at age 10). I have never been snow skiing though. I thought our interests were pretty similar, found that kind of interesting....although I have yet to get an interview or hear from DCOM since I was told that my app was complete 2 months ago.
I was a competitive gymnast for 15 years 👍 Wish my body didn't hurt every day because of it, or I would still be flipping 😀
Count me in. I'm a wakeboarder/wake skater, but I can slalom... a little 🙂. I learned last year behind the wakeboard boat, so it was ..... interesting. We should probably take all the fatsacs out next time so the wake isnt so big. But it was still fun as hell.We should get together with the boat sometime...I need an excuse to fire up the Waverunner...and blow off some steam.

I know what you mean! My knees, shoulders, and hips are about shot. They kill me! Actually, I went to therapy for my shoulder for 2.5 years...my orthopedic surgeon said that my shoulder looked like that of about a 70 or 80 year old, and I was only 21 at the time. It is terrible for your joints once you get up to a high enough level! I had an amazing time though and wouldn't trade it for anything. I tumbled again a couple of months ago and thought I was going to die the next day. Amazing enough, may layouts are still higher than my shoulders! I am too chicken to do any twisting or anything now though.
Funny but scary story about my shoulder....I took Vioxx as an anti-inflammatory, and it made me really short of breath and my chest hurt really bad. I made a special trip to my doctor about it and he took me off of it immediately, "just to be safe." That was maybe a little under a year before they publicized all of the heart problems related to it. 😱
You will find nothing but positives from this forum. Everyone here is very very excited about the school, even those who have turned down offers or have not yet received theirs still hang around because the atmosphere is so awesome. There's a reason we're on Page 39 of part 2!hey i got an interview today at LMU!!! They seemed really nice, but i will be pretty expensive flying from ny and renting a car etc. What did everyone think about the school and the interview/

wow... you got me thinking about driving there. I am from NY and it is 739 miles away which is a 12 hour drive. It looks very difficult, but it can be done. what do you guys think. I have driven to atlanta once which was 10 hours away from my house.

I did gymnastics from 2-14, Ice skating from 4-18 and dance (ballet, pointe) from 2-18 and now I am a runner, so you can imagine what type of shape my body is in, I feel your pain!!!!
For a second I thought you were suggesting that after all that your body is super hot now.![]()
ha, well interpret as you will 🙂
on other news, no phone call.....
First, Laura is hot and in very good shape. 😉
Second, awwww man! No phone call today. Probably tomorrow then. I got the call on a Tuesday.![]()

I don't know where in NY you're from but I'm from eastern PA, and if you can get on 81 south, the drive is VERY easy. Honestly, you take 81 S all the way to TN, then you get on 25 WS or NW (I can never remember, I don't understand why it has to have 2 directions anyways....) and that will take you all the way to the Holiday Inn in Middlesboro. Well, the school too.
Mmmm...waverunner! Fun!
I love to slalom and cruise around...not much for the wakeboarding. Maybe I should give it another try this season... I would definately love to have a waverunner. Maybe in ten years...
I got mine like three weeks after my interview. Because of late LORs. So dont fret too bad. I think my call came on Tuesday before Thanksgiving, but they told me it could be later because of the holiday. Some people dont get calls though, they just get the letter, so dont flip out if you dont get a call.So pretty much we have determined that they make calls, Tuesday, Wed, Thur or Fri.....🙂 Ok, as long as its not Monday!

MJB, I love mowing the lawn as well. Its an hour or so that you dont have to think about anything but how much you can cut on this pass. I honestly like push mowing... as long as the yard isnt hugemongous. I wouldnt mind having a little place to get to do some yard work everyonce in a while and just relax and chill out a little. 🙂 I'm a dork, what can I say....Hmmm...I wanna boat. Maybe we can trade! 😉
We've got skis, a wakeboard, O'Brien Superscreamer, etc...all fun. I'm still too fat to Wakeboard (or need a 143 instead of a 138), but really, really wanna get into that sport. It looks like a blast. Wife loves skiing, I like Skiing and tubing..and just running fast on the Waverunner...65mph on water is fast enough for me, but I hear they've come out with a new model that is like 800cc's bigger than ours.
Ours is a 2005 Yamaha High Output Cruiser and has a 1052cc 4-stroke putting out like 165HP. Every day when I cross Norris Lake, I get the itch.
Just to show how tired I was of being inside...I mowed the yard today and LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. It felt so good to get out of the office for a couple hours! 2.5 weeks until a week of freedom!!!!!!!!!😀
You got some moves gurl!!! I know, I know, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. My shoe laces too...Thanks Rose, but you should know me well enough by now that I'm going to flip out each day I don't get called
This is me having an anxiety attack!

Its a long drive that is very flat and straight until you hit knoxville. Its about 3 hours to Knoxville, then another hour and 15 or so up to DCOM if you go the easiest way up 75, off at LaFollette then up 63 to Harrogate. Very nice and pretty drive though. I used to go to school over by Nashville, and came home a lot, so I have made that drive a few times.Another idea is to fly into Louisville, KY and drive from there, which is a 3 hour drive to DCOM and is really easy. Just another idea for you. You can also fly into Nashville, which is 4 hours away. I have not made that ride so I don't know how it is.
Laura.....calls are usually made on Tuesday, but have been made other days. Don't panic if you don't hear anything....just wait for the letter. Do you know if they will accept you without having finished Physics yet? Perhaps a conditional acceptance? Just curious...I don't know the policy on that one, but I imagine they have done it before.
Rose...sorry I left you out too 🙁 It just leave me more people for my next "rant." Like I said before, it was therapeutic, so I will have to do it again in the future. I'll remember you then 😉
Its the fresh cut grass smell that I love. And firing up the grill for some burgers and sitting back with a cold adult beverage.... Paradise.I actually really love mowing the lawn too! There is nothing like the feeling of accomplishment after mowing the lawn. In my first house I decided to buy a manuel push lawn mower, it was so much fun, exhausting but fun
