Hey guys. I narrowed down my DO acceptances to 2, and I am leaning more towards ACOM for the moment. But since I have to put down a deposit very soon I wanted to see if I can get some input.

Overall, I felt more at home at ACOM. I also loved their curriculum, class size, rotation spots and pretty much everything but for the attendance policy.

However, I'm wondering how their match will be. LMU has had amazing matches plenty of time into UT and other big names like Clevland Clinic. Do you guys think ACOM's match list will be a close similar?

Thanks for the input.

If you felt more at home with ACOM and feel that you will succeed there I would choose ACOM. They are moving in the right direction with their clinical training, the opening of a research building (and actively recruiting researchers). I think ACOM will do you well.

ACOM. If only for the clinical rotations.

Just a thought - I didnt attend LMU interview (after ACOM acceptance) mainly because of this and how rural LMU is.

I would definitely go to ACOM! Their third and fourth year rotations are solid and they have much smaller class size.

I spent a semester at LMU campus and left after one semester. The environment is really not conducive for study. First the school is in the middle of No where; so they set up a masters program to try to get enough students for their med school. The faculty is helpful but the admissions and administration are Not helpful.
I recently graduated from a top university in New York with a 3.65 and will be attending OU-Hcom this fall.
In my opinion, LMU-Dcom is NOT worth it.

I recently graduated from a top university in New York with a 3.7 and will be attending OU-Hcom this fall. OU-Hcom is so awesome.

Just curious, were you an undergraduate, masters, or medical student there when you were attending? Is the admissions/administrative comment in regards to the medical school or just the school as a whole?

I received an interview from VCOM a week after submitting my January MCAT. Hope that helps!

If I'm being honest you probably won't receive one unless your mcat was above average. February is extremely late to send an Mcat score
