I got the 256GB before starting first year and have only used 64GB now going into second year. And thats without being mindful whatsoever of the storage and having my streaming apps lol. So im positive when it starts filling I’ll be able to find ways to cut down on it. I use notability for note taking if that helps at all. But overall I say if the price difference is significant you can totally survive with 256!

Hopefully the WL movement picks up more over the next few weeks. Already a few days into June.

why are there only ~100 people in the harrogate GM currently? did they cut down their class size this year or do they still have 100+ spots to fill?

Knoxville's groupme has 173 and it seems they are filled. Granted, I know not everyone probably uses social media or groupme.

Harrogate is at 99 and they mentioned in the interview I attended that it would have 250+ students, though they never specifically said Knoxville's total class size.

Harrogate fills to about 250. And typically Knox is the same. Rumor has it though that the Knoxville class was adding about 100 students to their campus this upcoming year (not sure if this is true, just heard at school, I’m an OMSII). I also think that kind of checks because they were doing switches from Harrogate to Knox way later this year than they did my year. Plus, I think next year the Florida campus will be opening so if anything I don’t think they would be slimming down the class now. Y’all don’t have a Facebook page either this year so a lot of people might just not know about the groupme.

How many WL spots does anyone think are realistically left? I am assuming like 40-50 people already got off the WL since it started

Not everyone in the chats is matriculating and not everyone matriculating is in the chat, so you can't really tell much from that

Hi! I was just accepted to the Harrogate campus. Could I have the GroupMe info?

Any current students here willing to give me some input on where they lived? I’m thinking of signing for a house 3 minutes away to have my own space. It won’t be too inconvenient living off campus right?

majority of students live off campus

A also received Friday from WL. If anyone knows anything about University Inn and would like to share please do. I'm deciding between that and off campus housing. It would feel more convenient being on campus.

So the on campus housing is usually taken by other types of students?
the majority of people in harrogate choose to live off campus, myself included. I know a handful of people who live in the UInn though! Most just choose to live off because rent is comparable & the UInn isnt actually on campus, its still like a 5 minute drive to it. one of my friends lived in UInn for fall, then moved out during spring just b/c the management wasn't very responsive or attentive & It was pretty dirty when she moved in. other than her experience, I don't have any other stories that I have heard from people! also the on campus housing is combined with all different students to answer your original question (dcom, vet students, pa students).

hey! I dont live there, but I know it's not actually on the campus itself, you will still have to drive 5ish minutes to be on the actual school campus. there is like 0 traffic in harrogate & very little in middlesboro, so if you are just looking for convenience, I definitely think any option would provide that! I will say, there is a tunnel connecting middlesboro and harrogate that occasionally closes for a few minutes when big trucks have to go through. so if you choose to live in middlesboro, that will be something to consider when driving to campus for exams/practicals/something time sensitive. I personally live in Harrogate about 5 min from campus and its all been very convenient for me.

Also to current students - how does LMU teach anatomy? Is it a single semester long course that feels rushed or do we learn anatomy alongside other systems as we go through? I can’t take the boot camp because of the price, will I suffer if I don’t have much previous anatomy experience?

LMU is moving to systems based curriculum and to my understanding classes like physiology, pharmacology, neuroanatomy, anatomy, and histology (all classes that were only one semester either in the fall or spring), will be a whole year. It is the first year they are doing this, so I cannot speak to how the workload is.

I also did anatomy bootcamp and I might be with the minority among those who did do bootcamp, but regardless if anatomy is a whole year or semester long, I do not think bootcamp gives you biggest the leg up compared to classmates who do not do bootcamp. It is nice to get exposure, but it is not the factor that will make your life easier on learning the material or pass the class. I only remembered a few things from bootcamp and I only did it as a way to meet friends before classes started. There are people who did do bootcamp and failed anatomy and those who passed, so not the end all be all per se.

Thank you so much! Do you have any input on how rotations went for people in third and fourth years? Was it often that we found sites on our own or are people sent to places?

Hi, does anyone have any apartment recommendations near the Harrogate campus?
