What about the 150+ other wolf abilities though? Surely some of those would be useful in targeting another wolf.

I'm used to being frustrated by AM chasing rabbit holes in my logic, feels different coming from pippy today. Also missed why she was voting for dvmd.

Ok sure. Fine. But it's still far far more likely that they wouldn't. Which is why I said it. If I hadn't said it someone would have countered with "but if genny was a wolf the wolves wouldn't waste an ability on her". It's a moot point and wasnt intended to be a 100% certainty, nothing in ww is.

Well in smash bros there were two starting wolf packs, though they weren’t separate factions and they were eventually combined. I was in one of those packs, so it’s fresh in my mind. I was just listing some possible reasons for the double kill. I honestly hadn’t thought that mel’s death was just collateral damage.

Only way I could see it as beneficial is if used on a player with an ability that only occurs on occasion and the block delays to the next time they can use that ability but that would then mean the blocker would have to know who has this type of ability and use it on such player which would be a whole hell of a lot of luck for Night 1.

You: your logic feels a bit strange to me. Evidence: all of the posts I quoted thus far. And, given the current distribution of votes, I wanted to see where things went if I voted for you. Reason: I have current leader coffee at neutral to maybe slight village lean, she is voting for you, I wanted to see how a vote for you affected distribution. But that is blown now.

And you're not even in the lead, so I'm not sure why you're getting huffy about me asking you to explain a couple odd statements. Also is not AT ALL unusual for me to be doing this, so I'm really confused about why you only expected questions from AM.

There was a delay wolf block in vet clinic -- it was MJ's ability. Player was blocked the night after PMing with him. Has been present in other games as well, I'm pretty sure.

Didn't say it doesn't exist, just doesn't make sense in the way it is being discussed currently in this game.

I mean, block after talking if the other player isn't told about it before hand.... that makes sense.

But being told you have been delayed block ahead of time... is just weird. Me saying it doesn't make sense isn't me saying it doesn't exist. I don't see how you would take it any differently?

It's something I do take into consideration, and will continue to do so. It is frustrating for people to get railroaded multiple times in a row, and it drives players away from the game because it is no longer fun for them. I also feel that we have been slowly hemorrhaging players over time, so I'm going to try to keep "fun" in the back of my mind as an overarching personal goal here.

So while I don't see where AM is going with nitpicking this, it is -- and will remain -- a personal consideration of mine.

So far of the more vocal people I'm leaning village on AM and Pippy (though I lost my reading Pippy ability last game). Also village on DVMD and happy to see her around. Coffee pinges my feels a little, partially because she seems to be making some sense and I'm used to being confused by her logic when she is village. Leaving her null pending my re read.

SAR's mayor vote yesterday made me think of someone with a guilty conscience. I'm hoping it's wolf-guilt, and not just general life-guilt, so that's why I'm voting there. I could also vote for Pippy or Dolphin. I think AM and Coffee sound village so far.

Not really intending to restart this, but reminding myself that this happened and I have more time to think about it. Not sure how I feel about being jumped on almost immediately after posting when others had justified previously and others justified even more later without being jumped on. Overall impression from yesterday was that I found genny pretty aggressive and I didnt pick up on it so much at first read but on the re read. Not sure how I feel about that at this point because I doubt trying to lynch the mayor/first mate or whatever willbe popular at this point

I thought along these lines too when I read the write up - as in it seemed like Mel's death was almost coincidental. Didn't think about it as mod flair though. Either way, more nights should give us an idea on whether 2 kills will be normal or just a one off (I suspect the latter, if only because this is not a huge game but I've been very wrong speculating mechanics before)
