Hi which province\city you from? I am from Canada and interviewing on 18th Nov. Did you try others?
 
I submitted my supplemental on October 21st but have not received anything since regarding an interview. Is it too early? Should I be worried?

I submitted mine at the end of September. Nothing yet…

From my experience, they interview a lot of OOS earlier in the cycle, then IS closer in November. Its a long cycle. Personally I had to wait a few months to get a supplemental, then later interview and was still first round of acceptances. Don't stress too much! DO NOT EMAIL THE COMMITTEE THIS EARLY IN THE CYCLE!
 
Has anyone else’s status changed from invited for interview to Recived/Under Review?

Will do. Yes, I registered this morning but have not received the confirmation yet.
 
Should we expect our status has changed to Received/Under Review after the interview? I had interview last month, but it still remains the same.

That would be my guess? I interviewed towards the beginning of last month and the status must have just changed a few days ago on my application

I had my interview on 10/14 and don't see any changes with regard to the status on the AADSAS. It still says invited for interview. Do you think I should reach out to school regarding this?

I don't think so. My guess is they're probably slowly updating the status of everyone they interviewed. Nothing at this point to do but wait to hear back from them since we've interviewed 🙂

I agree with you they have mess in their office as they have to officially send an email today for us interviewing next week so we have to be patient they say so let us give them some time
 
any one interviewing (coming Tuesday) got confirmation (zoom link)? for me it is waiting for approval so just wondering if they will register only a day before?

I received the Zoom link the day before my interview, so you'll probably receive yours around that time frame too.

what email are you guys talking about? I haven't received any email. what was it about? and my status is the same- invited for interview
 
What is yall's thoughts on sending a letter of interest sometime in December ? I am guessing Maryland is done with handing out PreDecember interviews (Unless someone drops). Not sure if they are done with In State student interviews 🙁
 
Does anybody know how Maryland views letters of interest? Are they frowned upon or encouraged? I have been ghosted from them since I submitted my application and have not received a supplemental application. Wondering if a letter of interest is a good idea for getting their attention.

they are having staffing issue so I doubt if they would read any kind of letter at this stage like thank you or LOI kind of letters. I think try after December 2 as you are not going to get pre dec interview anyway and good thing is they would know how many offers they would be doing post December. this is my thinking.
 
Anyone know if UMD usually reserves in state student interviews for later or something? I havent seen of many IS people receiving interviews on here or on facebook.

I had interview yesterday and there were few IS applicants and also I am not sure if all of them uses SDN or facebook so it is very difficult to guess how many pre-december invites all school have sent so far and how long it will continue but for sure it will go till Feb\March as it will not fill out that quickly till those with multiple offers finalize their choice of school

it was only 15 minutes so they hardly asked me 4 questions not sure if they were tired I was the last one to go at 3.15 so not sure it is good or bad. same old routine questions so looked like to me a formality. they will have to pick candidates from all states so it depends how many were there from my states

At my interview in September there were quite a bit of in state people. But a lot from California (including me) and they commented on that.

Hi All ready to count hours now? Almost all that posted here showing minimum 3 interviews (some of them have even 6 & 8) so how would you decide and choose? How many think Maryland is their choice and is good school compare to other school? For some I know cost could be big factor in decision making?
