after lot of back and forth with medical schools and data crunching US News has finally released 2023 / 2024 rankings

Biggest upward changes vs preliminary version:
Harvard (3 -> 1)
Columbia (6 -> 4)
Duke (9 -> 5)
Stanford (7 -> 5)
Cornell (14 -> 10)
NYU (13 -> 10)

Biggest downward changes vs preliminary version:
UMich (9 -> 13)
Yale (7 -> 10)

Rankings don't really matter. What matters in a school is if it is for-profit or not-for-profit. Always go to a not-for-profit school that's accredited.

Ties for 5/ties for 10/ties for 13/ties for 18. US news is tip toeing around to not hurt anyones feelings

wrt to vandy jump, prob the same reason Harvard scooted itself back into first. politics us plebs have no idea about behind the scenes
