Meharry Waitlist????????

Hello everyone,

As you can tell from my screen name, I'm going to one of the DO schools that accepted me next year. I was wondering, however, if anyone has been accepted off of Meharry's waitlist this year. I interviewed there back in October, and was put on the waitlist 3 weeks later. I have not heard anything since. Has anyone else?? Oh well, write back if someone has heard anything. Peace

Meharry is very annoying. I called several times and I was told the class was closed.
I am also waiting.

I also interviewed back in October and was placed on some sort of
waiting list category, actually they said that I was in the 'acceptable
range' and that my application would be help for futher consideration.
For several months I did not hear from them so I withdrew my application b/c
Meharry was not in my top 3 choices (althought it is a good school that focuses
on training physicians to work in medically underserved areas) and I had already
been accepted somewhere else. Good Luck!

I just got in on the 15th of April. I too was placed in the '" acceptable range " in February. Hope this helps,and the BEST of luck !

um, i've noticed whites, asians, and hispanics posting on here who have interviewed at meharry; someone in my class at tufts is Eastern Indian and he was accepted at Meharry last year too. he got in off the waitlist at Tufts (I did too) in late July and opened up a space for someone at meharry, so chances are you will hear good news in the next few months. good luck!

I interviewed at Meharry in February and was wondering what to do. I am an Asian student so I don't know if that's a factor being held against me but I really loved the school and student's feedback. I to was placed on the Acceptable Range wait list and have not heard anything yet. I've send them a letter of intent but still haven't heard any further news. Please give any advice. Thanks,
