Just looked over some EOBs. Can confirm it is in this ballpark for me as well. We thought we hit the jackpot in 2021 when they changed 28820 and 28825 to a 0-day global, only to have them slash the reimbursement. The good news is you can squeeze an office visit or two out of the patient.

Suggested workaround: instead of OR, have the patient follow up in clinic/office for serial 11044s, effectively amputating the toe 3-5mm at a time.

Also, this is the meme thread and my suggestion above isn't serious

I feel like 2024 was a more quiet year for meming than 2023, shouldn't be so hard. Yeah there's 30 pages of content but a lot of it was us bickering. My cutoff to be nominated for meme of the year 2023 was 12 reactions but I feel like it will be lower for 2024.

I guess we can take a few weeks to relive 2024 in memes and I'll filter through it all-- unless I get bogged down with tax prep again like I did last year. Yet another reason PP sucks

And bubbawub already nominated me. Since there were no other nominations that I remember I hereby accept the award. If it worked for the democrats, it can work for SDN.
 
Consider it a lifetime achievement award for me. But somebody does need to do a in memoriam for people that we lost this year AKA pronation.
