After 3 failures of dental applications,
while 2 wait-listed consecutive years at USC dental school--> both years turned down..
4 DAT attempts,
International Student Status
Applied over 20+ dental schools

2 extra years of research after graduation undergrat + 12 additional courses in undergrat after bachelor's degree + Current ongoing Master's program.....
Over 100+ hrs of 2 shadowing dentists (one of dentists kicked me out because I was shadowing her too much?) + Student Health Org activities + Panama oral care volunteering experiences + Midwestern simulation course etc.

CDMI finally knows who I am. The future prepared dentist.

It took me almost 4 years. Do NOT give up guys.🙂 If you REALLY want it, you will achieve it.

Glad you kept trying and didn't give up. You will find that the extra work was worth it since you will have a long career ahead of you.

I don't like this language. You learned something each time, and, to me, that is not a failure. To me, failure is repeating the same mistake over and over. Each time you did a little bit more to get you to your goal. More of an extended roadtrip than failing 🙂

Sorry, pet peeve. Congratulations on finally achieving your goal!
