I’m sorry to hear this! I hope you receive interviews from other schools you applied to!

I believe that a 19AA is great and I have heard of people getting into dental school with scores lower than that. I have also heard that Midwestern requires a summation DAT score of 110. So that could be a possible reason for your rejection?

That could be. It's so upsetting, but I have to be positive and not give up. It's for sure a mind game and I have to continue to press forward.

There is honestly ZERO rhyme or reason to getting an interview for a specific school is what I am beginning to think...

He/she ^ was waitlisted with a 3.34GPA & 19 AA

I have an interview with a 3.1 GPA and a 19AA

A little bit of luck, timing, & who else knows at this point!

Hey 🙂 I hate to hear that you're upset. Rejections are hard, I completely understand (I've had a few). However, do not give up 🙂 You've got this! Be confident in all of the work you have put forth approaching this cycle and just understand that MWU-IL was not where you were meant to end up. I'm rooting for you! 🙂 Best of luck, my friend.

So I don't want to give false hope, but this goes for everyone: BE TENACIOUS! I got an early rejection from NOVA a week ago, and called the admissions office, where I got in contact with the admissions director (Calvin Mendes, absolutely fantastic man) asking if the early rejection was legit. He confirmed it, then I told him about how I am in a masters program as I stated on my app, and he confirmed it said that, and to progressively update him as I got my grades, and they would have no problem reconsidering the rejection. See if you can have something similar happen if you have any additional info or an update! Good luck, you have some pretty competitive stats!

Extremely sorry to hear that; very good stats compared to the school prior year average, I can't believe. Don't worry, I am sure, you will get it in other schools. Did they give you any reason?

It makes me wonder about my chances at this school.

I recently retook the DAT, and my new scores are AA: 21 TS: 21 PAT:21 RC: 21 QR: 22 BIO: 20 GC:21 OC:20. But the scores listed above are what the university had at the time they emailed me.

I just got an email from midwestern sprinkling their 2 year biomedical sciences masters program. I can’t tell if it’s a soft rejection or just a generic promotional email...

What does your decision status say on AADSAS? I haven’t gotten an interview and my decision status says “none.” Just wondering if yours says “complete” or something else maybe.

I was interviewed a while back. It said "none" then and it still says that till this day.
