Yes, he was IS. And another one of my friends just got his acceptance today (so I'm assuming he was pulled off the waitlist, too). So both the waitlists are moving now!

And as far as Kathy calling people, it seems like she calls OOSers, but not ISers. ISers just get an acceptance packet.

Ok thanks for the update! I am almost glad to know that IN-states get a package.
I guess its just continue to wait and cross my fingers!

But on the chance that I don't get in this round, does anyone know the chances of getting in your second round?

I don't think anyone can say... Do the file review they offer you and fix what they say and keep your fingers crossed. I know some who got in on their second try, and some that tried three times and never got in. Personally, I got flat out rejected last year and moved up to waitlisted this year, so I'm hoping third time will be the charm for me if the waitlist doesn't work out.
 
Mailbox stalking successful! I just got in!!!!! Can't believe it.

I just got to call my grandparents who have been my biggest cheerleaders all along. I was so afraid they might night be around by this time next year to share my success with 🙂
 
When I opened my first checking account ten years ago, my mom encouraged me to buy the big double pack of checks. So, being 18 and not knowing much, I picked the puppy and kitty ones that gave money to a humane society. I still have those gosh darn things, since I do all my bill pay online. I am a little embarrassed to be sending HSUS checks for my vet school deposit 😳

Nice!!! How was the open house? I need to plan a trip to CoMo to apartment shop- and buy some Mizzou Vet School gear!

I just got added to the FB group. I think I figured out kpowell, nordi, and rainheart. If I am correct, Rainheart and I share a first name 😀

Yes you and rain have the same first name lol. I'm pretty darn easy to figure out lol open house was great! There were a ton of people there! We went to a toxicology lecture which was hilarious. Dr. Evans was quite a character lol I bought toooo much vet school gear, but winning the kindle is kinda like being reimbursed for all the money I spent lol

I LOVED the open house here... had a great time and my mom got to see where I'll be spending my next four years. I had the same experience with my interview, everyone is SO SO friendly and willing to help with anything we may need. Talked to a few people I have met online who are currently VM1's. Dr. Evans was amazing, I can't wait to take Toxicology! And I spent way too much in the Vet Med bookstore and on-campus book store, but hey, I need myself some good Mizzou gear. I ended up with 2 hoodies, a jacket, a few shirts, a new cup, and some Mizzou stickers for my car. We explored campus a little bit, too and found some of the points of interest. Then we ate at Bangkok Gardens... YUM! Drove around a little to see what was near where we are going to be living. Walmart is really close, just as an FYI. And of course we ended up getting a showing of our place... looks great! I'll get those pictures emailed tonight sometime.
 
How's the wait list going?? I know we have 2 SDN acceptances , 1 each for IS & OOS... Anybody else ? Can't wait to meet you guys!!
