Old man Stauf built a house and filled it with his toys. Six guests were invited one night, their screams the only noise. Blood in the library, blood right up the hall, dripping down the attic stairs, "Hey Guests! Try not to fall". Nobody came out that night. Not one was ever seen. But Old man Stauf is waiting there... Crazy! Sick! And MEAN!

Sign Ups will close on August 20th (?)
Game Start:
August 23rd (?)
Cycle Timing: 24 hour days/24ish hour nights. Days will close promptly at 9pm EST. Night actions will be due at 8pm EST to allow time for processing.
Game Setup: Closed, somewhere between role madness and basics
Mods: @WildZoo , @kaydubs , and (modlet) me!

General theme: Haunted house/horror
Specific source material: The 7th Guest (1993 CD-ROM puzzle/adventure game from Trilobyte--in many ways, the original game that kicked off computer gaming). FWIW, it's been re-released in 2023 on the Switch 🙂
Do I need to know the source material: No!!! There might be some minor bonuses for players who are familiar, but many of the creepy/haunted house tropes should be enjoyable without!

I'll take as many players as I can get! If you're not sure about playing or have commitments restricting your availability at the start of the game, consider signing up as a sub! And of course if you would like to spectate the game in the official spectator chat, feel free to sign up as a tot!

Would love to get up to at least 13-15 players if possible for my envisioned setup, though I will make it run with fewer if necessary! Of course I know it's a busy time of year for those of you starting up school again, but there should be no expectation that you need to be SUPER HIGH ENGAGED to have fun!

Using the source material really just as a point of inspiration for a story many of you guys are probably not familiar with (and weren't alive for when it came out 😛 ). But if you come in just expecting a spooky game of WW, that's about what you'll get 🙂
