I was accepted for epi! The decision was in the portal, I haven’t gotten an email. And for two year MPH, not accelerated.

I got in, applied to HPM on 11/21 for the accelerated program. Good luck! Ps. your GRE is amazing!

Has anyone gotten a response that they have been "recommended for admission" and that "admittance will become official upon certification by the School of Public Health's Office for Student Engagement and Practice"? Does this mean I am in or could I still gt rejected??​

I got that from FIU and Maryland, but I was finally accepted into both. I think most, if not all, of the programs go through this process. The department accepts you, then, your application is forwarded to the Graduate Office for the final approval. It's just that some of the departments actually do inform you beforehand. In a nutshell, you are more likely to get accepted. They rarely reject students at this stage.

Still waiting to hear back from Harvard and UC Berkeley. Both are mid-Feb to mid-March. So unfortunately will not be able to make a decision soon...
For financial aid, haven’t heard anything from Columbia or JHU, expect it will take some weeks there as well before we hear anything about aid. Waiting for some private/governmental grants to get back at me as well. So still many loose ends to fix, before I can formally say I will be doing an MPH next year

Let alone, that I’ll also have to convince my residency chairman to allow me the time off...

The priority deadline for Columbia was 12/2. This means to have applied through SOPHAS. You did not have to been verified by this date.
