I mean. I think as with any school, a lot of people tend to stay in state because this is where they were born and raised, etc. That being said, I know NCSU grads who work on dairies in Pennsylvania and California and in other practices all over the country. I think to some extent many states with vet schools will preferentially hire students from that school, but the thing is no matter where you graduate from you will have a veterinary education and are qualified to work anywhere. I don't really think that the school you go to effects this much if at all.
