Hi, ive posted here before but i will be taking Step in the next 6 months and im getting antsy. Im a Carrib. student who wants to match in Ortho. I have shadowed my own ortho for about 500 hrs. spent a week on the ortho service at a University at home. Im getting involved in writing a paper on ACL surgery etc. I know i need to kill step 1 to have a chance, ortho is pretty much all i want to do. I have been doing well in classes mostly high passes, but i do well on the shelf exams (except for histo), mainly because i dont waste time with my professors little details and focus on the big concepts and understanding and not just memorizing. I will finisht he semester in april. have a 3 week break, 6 weeks of ICM and then a required 7 week Kaplan class. Then will take exam 3 weeks after Kaplan, we cant schedule till after passing kaplan
Need to get 250+ on Step, please advise
