I am waiting to hear about a 2nd renewal and received a similar email:
"We are in receipt of your lender statement(s) from United States Department of Education - PHEAA FED LOAN SERVICING (06) and we have updated your records to reflect the new balance information.
Please log into your portal at
NIH LRP Portal - Login to view your updated records. If the loan information is incorrect, contact us via email at
[email protected] within three (3) business days of this notification. If you fail to notify us and later discover inconsistencies or omissions, we may not be able to reconcile or resolve them. Should you have any questions regarding your payments, please contact us by e-mail at
[email protected]."
Two years ago for my 1st renewal, I received the same message and follow-up and received this response:
"Good morning
As a renewal, we only need to update your loan balance. I am forwarding your current account statement to our financial team for processing.
Have a great day

So I think you're good to go. Good luck!
