I need help picking a school list! Non-trad graduated in 2016 with a Computer Science degree

1. cGPA and sGPA as calculated by AMCAS or AACOMAS: 3.98, 4.0 Science GPA
2. MCAT score(s) and breakdown. Include all (non-voided) attempts. 522 Jan this year (1st attempt a 510 literally 10 years ago just after graduating)
3. State of residence or country of citizenship (if non-US): Wisconsin
4. Ethnicity and/or race: White
5. Undergraduate institution or category: UW Madison
6. Clinical experience (volunteer and non-volunteer):
   1. 130 hours ED inpatient patient interviewer. Would collect data using hospital provided questions on inpatients admitted from the ED through conversation, and generally provide comfort and items they needed (hygiene products, water, etc). Would assist in training new volunteers
   2. 20 Hours Inpatient Cancer Floor - Comfort rounding, and assisting with flu shot drive
   3. 220+ as Emergency Department patient registrar (arriving ambulances with strokes/heart attacks etc, registering patients in their room after admissions, working with triage nurse assessing initial symptoms). I've cultivated a lot of meaningful stories from this job, more than people generally assume on first glance.
   4. 50+ assisting elderly patients admitted as inpatient eat, move, socialize during college
7. Research experience and productivity
   1. ~60 hours (I really don't know, probably more. Did it for 2 semesters, met weekly with PI, but I'm being very conservative with my hour estimate as I do not remember exact numbers)
      Bioinformatics research lab, documented, debugged and helped code software that integrated large discrete experimental datasets, stitching them together to give possible signaling pathways within a cell.
   2. Made a poster board for my Biology Honors class and attended an open to the public poster session with my project.
8. Shadowing experience and specialties represented
   1. 40 total, 16 with CT surgeons, 8 with an anesthesiologist, 4 observing an autopsy, 12 with pathologists. Very happy with experiences and have quite a bit I could talk about.
9. Non-clinical volunteering
   1. 75 at homeless shelter free clothing shop. Helping low income individuals find clothing, checkout, and documenting visit for bookkeeping.
      ~50 tutoring middle schoolers in college
      ~50 engineers without borders. May not include this as I do not remember much of my experiences from college.
10. Other extracurricular activities (including athletics, military service, gap year activities, leadership, teaching, etc)
    1. 255 as an at home caregiver. Paid, would travel to clients house for tasks like bathing, catheter changing, grocery, chores, etc.

    2. 2 years as software engineer at a large health insurance company
    3. PhD student at Columbia, unfinished degree. Experience made me realize how much I wanted to be a physician, although I enjoyed the academics.
       TA'd an intro to circuits class
    4. 2 years at a nonprofit servicing my local community (largely a paper pusher job, not too incredibly rich an experience but nevertheless have a perspective on the needs of low income families struggling with disability)
    5. Diagnosed with a serious and chronic autoimmune disease in childhood that started my interest in medicine

Remove Rush and Loyola since they expect many hundreds of hours of non clinical volunteering. Remove UC Davis since they admit only 2 to 3 non residents per year. You could add these schools:

Washington University (in St. Louis-almost a guaranteed interview with your stats)
Vanderbilt
Iowa

Since 2023 I have:

130 ED Inpatient rounding. Conversations with patients about what they need, hygiene items water etc
20 cancer inpatient comfort rounding, flu shot drive
255 care giving hours. At the patient's home, paid. Clients had a diverse range of illnesses like Parkinson’s and Dementia, some hired a caregiver for severe depression.
75 homeless shelter hours
40 shadowing (CT surg, Anesthesiology [for OBGYN and Cardiology procedures], Parhology )
2-300 Emergency Department Registrar (clinical). By time of secondaries probably close to 400
2 years 30-40 per week working at a nonprofit in Milwaukee. Gist is that we service local families who need help caring for their elderly or disabled family members. We have a contract with Wisconsins DHS to provide funding to pay caregivers. I work with management, clients and customer service resolving payment claims and errors as the process can be difficult for those with special needs to understand.
