Day 7

Today we tell the story of another pair of friends. Their lives were not linked as the whale and petunias, but their destinies were. Yes, one could not fulfill his life's purpose without the other, and is there any greater definition of a soulmate?

It was Pluto that found Jeff Goldblum, not the other way around, and from then on a beautiful friendship was born. They waited for the perfect moment, and then they began their work. It was not easy, and it required much of them, but they persevered. Last night though, just as they would have completed their task, something...went wrong. Jeff was forced to run from a menacing creature, and Pluto could not reach him.

In the morning the other space explorers turned on them. The pair had been acting strangely, and their story was absurd. How could a planet befriend a human being? How could they possibly work together? And, for reasons that are his and his alone, Jeff's reaction was to...burn the whole place down. The frustration and isolation seemed to have driven him mad.

Pluto could only look on as the mob carried Jeff to the airlock and prepared to jettison him into space, as far from his companion as they could get. But at the last moment Jeff spun away from them, drop-kicked the closest one, and jumped out of the airlock himself.

Well forgive me. Literally First game (I think I'm allowed to ask questions publicly that I think others may not know about either given this is a NOOB game - sorry I don't got those #prostrats). There are a lot of things that can be done in these games that I wouldn't have even thought to ask about, so SORRY your role wasn't obvious (which if it was what was the point in not saying anything?).
Like I've said. I didn't think either of you were where I should place a vote given the information I had (why I was looking for your help to clarify why I should be going after Shelter - which hey I shouldn't have been), if that makes me sketchy so be it. My ability doesn't specifically do that. It allows me to avoid most night actions, and I will learn the identity of those that act on me.

i mean the answer is the same as before
After mutts was lynched I received a message stating I was trapped in the gravitational pull. Start of night cycle. In the morning I was able to submit to heal myself. I don't know how long it takes to be converted, and the only reason I knew it was conversion was because it was very clear in the write up of mutt's death.

But Stagg timeline, he said he couldnt vote during the day, and I cured you instead of him that day. I tried to cure him the next day but he was already converted. So it seems it takes a full cycle.

Mulder blocked out the sound of the man's monologue as he looked around for a way to save himself. Was there really no one here to help him out? He supposed it was to be expected - there were others that needed protecting too. It might not have made a difference anyway. He looked back towards his enemy and was not surprised to find that the weird little dude was still talking.

"Look, if you're gonna kill me, just get it over with. I'd rather have the silence of death than continue to listen to the sound of your voice."

That seemed to do the trick.

Jupiter. King of the gods. And, appropriately, king of the planets in our solar system. Imagine getting caught in its orbit. How would you ever escape?
Some clever space cadets figured that was not the kind of planet you wanted hanging around.

But how could a planet kill someone? you might ask. Well. I'm not here to answer that question for you. Seems irrelevant.

And so, the ambitious explorers took aim with a big ass laser, set to "Planetary Destruction." It might take a day or two for it to fully destroy the planet, but rest assured, it is dead dead dead. Definitely probably maybe nothing to worry about there.

And now we must ask ourselves: Was Jupiter just full of hot air?

Another note:
I was given an AI to get some sort of answers from N2 and asked how many wolves are in play. I was given a snarky response that there are “somewhere between 2-5, I imagine.”
This answer differs from what Mutts has claimed in her AI response that there were 3 wolves to be exact and a chaos possibility out there.
